Sparsh had been taking good care of Ragini, he didn't let her walk by herself. Even if she wanted to use the washroom, he walked her there, holding her hand and telling her to step carefully and slowly. He brought all her meals to the room himself despite Ragini telling him that she wanted to have her meals with everyone. On one such day he carried her in his arms to the dining table and she was so embarrassed that she listened to him and never expressed her wish to eat with the family again.

Ragini's cast was removed soon. Sparsh had taken her to the hospital and the doctor, who was a good friend of Sparsh, said that she was fine and didn't need bed rest anymore.

"I'll have my lunch with the family today. And I'm going to help Ma in the kitchen too," said Ragini while they were driving back to home.

Sparsh's lips moved to speak but were interrupted by Ragini, "And you're not gonna stop me!"

"You're really..." said Sparsh, shaking his head.

"Really what?"

Sparsh simply glared at her and then focused on driving. Ragini looked at him for an answer and when she didn't receive one, she pouted and then enjoyed the chilling breeze which touched her beautiful face.

In the past few days, they had spent a lot of time together. Sparsh had stayed home and looked after her as Jeevika had returned to her home and Ma already had a lot of things to take care of. He had decided to go to work when Ragini recovered.

Ragini had been looking for a chance to talk to Sid and let him know that she had forgotten all about him and that she wanted him to move on too. That day, Ragini kissed Sparsh because she wanted to show it to Sid and no feelings were involved, but when she had to let go of him, she was disappointed.

After that kiss, they didn't have such a moment between them but it seemed they got closer. They laughed more in each other's company. They felt more comfortable with each other. And the most crucial thing, their smiles looked more genuine, especially Ragini's.

"Your cast is removed and the doctor said that you're okay, but that doesn't mean you can run around and hurt yourself again. You still need to be careful and take care of yourself. Got it?" said Ma while they sat at the table for their lunch.

Papa and Sid were out at their respective workplaces and would come in the evening so it was just three at the eight-seater dining table.

"You don't have to worry about me now. I'm totally fine so I think you should begin going to work. Everyone at the hospital asked when you will come to work again," said Ragini when they were in their room after their meal.

Back in the hospital, many of Sparsh's colleagues visited them and complained about his absence from the hospital.

"We know you've just got married, but you can't quit work and stick with your wife all the time," teased one of Sparsh's colleagues.

"I saw some female nurses crying over your marriage," said another.

They told Ragini that Sparsh was famous among the nurses as well as the patients, young girls came to him with roses and chocolates while women came with proposals. Some older women even tried to set him up with their daughters.

"Am I making you uncomfortable being here, with you? Am I being bothersome? Or do you hate me to the extent that you want me out of your sight? Why do you keep telling me to go to work? You've been saying this for, I don't know, how long! I thought things were getting better between us but I guess it was just a misunderstanding on my part."

There was frustration and disappointment in Sparsh's voice. It was as if he was angry and hurt simultaneously. Ragini had only seen his gentle and calm side and this annoyed Sparsh was totally new to her.

Sparsh got out of the bed and walked toward the door.

"Where are you going?" said Ragini from behind.

Sparsh didn't respond and went out of the room followed by 'running' Ragini.

"Sparsh!" Ragini called his name.

He was on the bottom most stairs when he turned around at Ragini's voice. She stood upstairs on the first step with her sharp, pointed brows furrowed creating a 'V' between her eyebrows.

"What are you doing? No cast is not at all equivalent to permission to run and jump. Why did you come out?"

Sparsh climbed up the stairs and said, "Go and take a nap."

"I didn't mean to hurt you," said Ragini in a low tone.

"It's okay. Go and sleep."

"I thought you were worried about me, I just wanted you to not worry about me. I thought I was being a burden. I..."

Ragini was still talking when Sparsh grabbed her slender body within his two strong arms and she stopped talking. She closed her eyes to feel the warmth of his embrace perfectly.

Sparsh broke the hug and said, "Let's go in."

While laying together in the bed, Sparsh said, "Forgive me for being rude. I got upset without any reason.I was being irrational. Sorry!"

"On one condition."

"Okay fine, I know what it is. I'll begin going to hospital from tomorrow. I'm going to work tomorrow, okay!"

Ragini giggled and said, "I just wanted to say that I crave for chocolates. I was gonna ask you to buy me some in the evening."

Ragini teased him and said, "Mr. Know-it-all, you don't know me at all."

Sparsh smiled and pinched her cheeks and said, "Then, allow me to get to know you well."

He took a pause, looked into Ragini's beautiful brown eyes and then continued, "I wanna know you better, better than anyone else in this entire world. Will you allow me to do that, darling?"
