In the days that followed, Eliza took Alina to her favorite places in Buenos Aires - the open market at San Telmo, the cemetery at Recoleta, and various cafes where they shared cafe con leche and croissants. It was scorching hot in that hemisphere, and Alina was bracing herself for the return to the cold of Northampton.
At night, they had wine and did homework, living like newlyweds in the apartment. Eliza loved to look at Alina's things. She marveled at the code on Alina's computer and wore Alina's Climacool sweats. She picked up Alina's journal and sifted through the pages. Alina felt scared. She had drawn a figure resembling Justine on the plane ride.
On the last day, Eliza, feeling uneasy, said, "Did you ever cheat on me?"
Alina, mustering up all her cool, said, "No."
Alina wanted to make sure of how much she adored Eliza. Eliza had been wishing that they had more sex during their time together, but there was still time before the bus departed. Alina kissed Eliza deeply.
"I can come." Eliza said.
With those words, Alina pulled off Eliza's pants and kissed down her body. She took each nipple in her hands and pushed Eliza's legs back with her shoulders so that her legs were up against her torso. She sucked on Eliza's clit and ran her tongue up and down between her teeth. Eliza began to gasp and moan loudly since this was no shared dorm; her nipples hardened further as Alina squeezed and licked. She came, buckling over and over until she stopped, breathing hard.
Alina did not wash her hands and got onto the plane with Eliza's scent.
