Lucy and I starts walking simultaneously. We reach the stone table, where Aslan once sacrificed himself for me and Edmund. Lucy reaches out a hand, and she touches the table. My finger linger at the engraved words.

"He must know what he's doing." Lucy whispers, her words carry thru the big room. She turns and looks at Susan, her eyes go back to the lion. I turn towards Peter as he starts speaking.

"I think it's up to us now." He announces, and I feel a cold rush thru my body. Our eyes lock for a moment, I glance back at the lion before meeting his gaze again. Without properly realising it I lightly shake my head.

Peter starts walking out, Susan follows after him. Then Caspian, and so Edmund goes reluctantly. I stand still, looking up at the lion. Lucy and I stand alone in the room, and I look at her.

"He wouldn't just have us show up here." I  mumble, shaking my head, still staring at the lion. Lucy looks up at me.

"No, he wouldn't. He led us here, remember?" She mutters, and I nod, still looking at the stone lion on the wall.

"Yeah." I mumble, "But Peter is right, it's our responsibility to fix this." I insist. I walk over to a wall and grab a torch, then I set fire to it. I turn towards her, and reach my hand out for her to take. She does and we follow after the others.

"Its only a matter of time." Peter announces.

We're back in the fire room, now with several other narnians with us. A lookout had spotted a spy only minutes before, now we were all here to discuss what to do. Lucy and I were sitting on the stone table as we were listening. "Mirza's men and war machines are on their way." Peter speaks to the crowd, he's using his kingly voice. "That means those same men aren't protecting his castle." He keeps circling, one thing I do admire about Peter is the way he can convince a crowd.

"What do you propose we of, Your Majesty?" Ripichip asks with a small bow. "We need to get ready for it-" Peter starts, "To start planning for-" Caspian starts. The two boys answer at the same time. An awkward silence cover se room, as the Prince and King look at each other. Caspian does and embarrassed little nod before Peter takes the word, "Our only hope is too strike them, before they strike us." He explains, looking right at Caspian. I exchange a worried looks with Lucy.

"Crazy. No one has taken that castle." Caspian blurts out, Peter looks at him.

"There's always a first time." Peter gestures with his arm out to the narnians.

"We'll have the element of surprise." Trumpkin adds, taking Peters side. I rolls my eyes,

"Suicide." I whisper to Lucy.

"But we have the advantage here!" Caspian argues, he looks around himself for support.

"If we dig in, we could probably hold them off indefinitely." Susan joins in on Caspian's side. Peter looks hurt, probably due to his sisters 'betrayal'.

"I, for one, feel safer underground." Truffelhunter admits, the badger who found Caspian in the forest. Peter takes a step forward, once again gaining the attention from the room. He stares at the prince, and it is as if he grows taller where he stands.

"Look. I appreciate what you've done here, but this isn't a fortress. It's a tomb." He talks directly to Caspian.

"Yes. And if they're smart, the Telmarines will just wait and starve us out." Edmund takes Peter side, his eyes falls to mine. I barely shake my head, and he shrugs, almost imperceptibly, before tuning back to the debate.
