{Camila's POV}

It was a night full of laughter, random questions and pasta sauce, some of which had gotten on my jeans. In other words, it was fucking fantastic.

"You really think you're a circle?" I ask the girl across from me, who had at some point finally removed her leather jacket and appeared visibly more at ease with my presence.

"I mean..." She takes a moment to ponder, "Yea."

"And why so, if you don't mind me asking?"

"Well, I've never been asked that question before... but the first thing that came to mind was a circle. Circles don't really have any beginning or end. They're just... there. They only roll when pushed, and only stop when someone makes them. They roll with whatever happens whether they want to or not"

"Hmmm, I see."

I lean back in my seat and process what she just said. Within the time that we've been speaking, I've picked up on several of the girl's idiosyncrasies:

1) She taps on things when she's nervous, or thinking deeply.
2) She messes with her hair quite often, occasionally flipping it over to the other side. She looks damn good doing it too.
3) There always seems to be deeper meaning to the things she says, no matter the topic. I don't even think she knows she does it.

"That makes sense... But I see you as more of a triangle"

"A triangle?" She scoffs, "No, I'm definitely not that."

"Why not?"

"Because, triangle are symbols of balance. They lead the viewer to what is suppose to be seen. They act as guides, if you will, in terms of art. Triangles lead the eye, and they catch people's attention." The entire time she avoided my gaze.

I can't help but take notice at the subtle way she puts herself down. If I'm being completely honest, it's really disheartening to think that someone like her could be insecure.

She takes notice of my momentary silence, and searches for my eyes once again.

"Why do you think I'm a triangle?" She asks almost timidly.

I take a good look at her before answering.

"I say you're a triangle because you seem firmly rooted to the ground. You seem like you provide stability, if not for yourself, then for others. And I believe you're a triangle for all the reasons you just stated."

She lets out a small laugh. "You don't even know me, how would you know that?"

"I don't know it, I just feel it" I looked at her expectedly.

She appears to be thinking about everything I just said carefully. I don't want her to over analyze too much, so I bring her out of her thoughts.

"And just so you know", I put my chin in the palm of my hand, leaning in closer to her as I did earlier today, a smile plastered on my face.

"You've got my attention. Without a doubt."

The statement appears to catch her off guard, and so that unreadable expression of hers returns. I really wish I could see what's going her mind right now.

A silence falls between us once again. Not particularly awkward, but not really what I'm up for right now.

"Ask me what shape I think I am", I say softly.

She appears hesitant for a moment before speaking up, "what shape are you?"

"A square"

She furrows her eyebrows gently, "and why is that, if I may ask?" She throws back at me more confidently. I like when she uses that tone.
