14. Mehndi Day!!

Soon the days went with the same things like karan would try to initiate talks teju would either reply coldly or would ignore him to just suppress her emotions.. But karan was also firm about his decision.. The mehndi is arranged at night nd it's almost gonna be evening nd all are at dev's haveli for the function..

Karan is currently being sitted with jenny nd talking..

J: So kuch baat bani fir??

K:*nodding in no with a sad expression* Nahh.. Woh baat hi nahi karti yaar, aur agar mai kuch initiate jaru toh woh yaa toh coldly jawab degi yaa ignore kar degi.. Sach kahu toh now it hurts..

J: Ik hoga hi hurt.. Isn't the history repeating itself?? Ek time tha jab tu usko dry replies deta tha ya ignore kar deta tha ab woh yeh kar rahi hai... But jab tu ab itna thak chuka hai, toh kyu maafi k piche pada hai, like let it be jaane de, waise bhi usne wapas chale jaana hai USA aur baat khatam ho jayegi bas ab gin k 4 yaa 5 din hai..

K: Maafi toh lekar rahunga mai..

J: Kyu itna desperate hai tu?? Kahi pyaar wyaar toh nahi ho gaya na usse??

K:*fumbling*Kya jenny kuch bhi bol rahi hai..

J: jaanta toh tu bhi hai k u feel for her but accept nahi kar raha hai.. Warna karan kundrra itna attitude jhele kisi ladki ka not at all possible...

K: *trying to be confident*Meko bas apni mistake ka regret hai toh uske liye baaki kuch nahi!! *changing the topic* Tu bata tera aur ricky ka kya chal raha hai haan?? Bade chipke hue hote ho aajkal..

J: Mera aur uska kya chalna hai.. Haan hum dono ko hai feelings but hum sorted hai.. Atleast teri tarah nahi k accept hi na kare apni feelings ko..

K: Mujhe na abbi cheezon ko complicate nahi karna hai aur.. Jo hai, chal raha hai chalne de..

Jenny just shook her head on her best friends antics nd went from there but then met teju in between so initiated talk with her..

J: Hii teju..

T:*normally* ohh.. Hii Jenny..

J: All set for mehndi??

T: Haan.. Tera ho gaya sab??

J: Haan.. *hesitating* teju ik hum dono ki kabhi baat hi nahi hui pehle aur cheezen bhi complicated thi tab bit kya ab hum frnds nahi ban sakte kya??

T: Jenny na mujhe tab koi problem thi tujhse na ab hai.. Air rahi baat frndship ki toh le*forwarding her hand with a smile* mind being my frnd??

Jenny to shake hand with her with a smile nd said but obvio nd hugged her which teju too reciprocated.. Nd then teju excused herself saying that she have some work.. Teju went towards the garden where the function was kept nd started instructing the decor person how to fix the flowers there but aa they weren't understanding her point she herself climbed on the table telling that bhaiya to come down nd started fixing the flower..

But suddenly she got disbalanced and was gonna fall only but but but, here happens the ionic scene, (*me chuckling*) nd karan comes nd hold her preventing her from falling... Like he held her before she could fall nd now she is in his arms nd both are sharing an eye contact conveying millions of emotions currently but then teju came back to her senses nd she tapped his shoulder which ultimately broke his trance too nd she indicated him to place her down which he did carefully nd after muttering a thank uhh she went from there as anyways the flowers were fixed.. While karan smiled hearing her thank uhh!!

Soon it was time for mehndi.. All got ready nd came in the garden.. But what fluttered karan's heart was teju's look!! She really looked ethereal..

All were having fun at mehndi.. Teju too used to love mehndi in childhood but all these years, no such event came where she could apply mehndi nd hence now her mehndi craze was gone.. But then as sona said her to apply a lil, she agreed nd applied mehndi only in the palm regions but in both hands.. Nd was currently checking the dinner arrangements as anyways rey was toh busy with kiah, fully giving her a line.. But seeing her alone, karan came there..

K:*flirting* Hii.. Gorgeous, kya kar rahe ho??

T:*irritated* Youu!! Ajeeb insaan ho yaar, mere itna rudely baat karne k baad bhi flirt karne ki himmat hai tum mai..

K: Woh kya hai, when u get irritated u look too hot.. Nd I love that..

He was just trying to irritate her but even he didn't knew why was he flirting with her that way nd was also feeling the same things he was saying.. But then before he could speak something more, she just left from there.. After a while, dinner started nd everyone was feeding their respective partners but there teju was standing alone as rey was feeding kiah.. Although he said that he would feed her too simultaneously but she refused not wanting to disturb the future couple.. Nd then she went to the terrace to have some alone time rather than going to room as they are gonna stay here only till the marriage...

After a while, karan too came there with a plate of food.. Although teju didn't noticed his presence until he fake coughed.. But then noticing him, teju said immediately...

T:*in a tone reflecting tiredness*Ab kya hai?? Kyu aaye ho yaha??

K: Bas khana laya tha tere liye.. Tune nahi khaya na isliye..

T:*in a stern tone*Nahi khana hai meko...

K:*flirtingly* Toh mai khiladu??

Teju just gave a dangerous glare nd he immediately muttered a sorry nd said..

K: Acha acha, mai nahi khilaunga par yeh spoon se kha le atleast..

He said passing the spoon and plate of food to her to which teju refused but then karan said..

K: Khane ko kabhi mana nahi karte!!

Listening this teju took the plate reluctantly as her azoba nd baba always say this whenever she doesn't eat nd hearing this she remembered that nd hence taking the plate started having the food without speaking anything.. But then in her trance she said..

T:*in her trance* kyu kar rahe ho yeh sab, mere itne rude hone k baad bhi...

Karan listened this but still just asked in a humming manner like what did she said.. To which she replied nothing nd muttering a thank uhh, she went from there.. While karan laughed at her antics but then got lost in his thoughts...
