32. A Step Forward!!

AUTHOR'S POV;

After Aaron left,Teju stood there rocketed, seeing Karan while she thought,he would approach her and ask about Aaron,but much to her surprise, he just went from there...While she stood there confused about his behaviour....

On the other side, Karan after coming home, directly went to his room..And sat there being absorbed in jealousy but he knew he could do nothing about it as approaching Teju and asking her about the guy would get no answer and hence he just came home directly...

While Teju too went inside her home and continued with the chores for the day but the thought of him being unbothered wasn't settling with her..Rest of the day went with her being restless about his reaction..

The hot sun of afternoon finally started to set marking the evening..After spending the whole day restless with her thought, Teju decided to go and ask Karan directly and without giving it a second thought she just preceded towards his Di's flat..

She rang the bell and Neeti dii opened the door, she was ready like going out somewhere and much to her relief, her doubt came true.. Neeti Dii welcomed her inside and gestured her to sit and then said,

"Teju mai jara bahar jaa rhi hun, but ghar par Mia aur Karan hai...So plss make yourself comfortable,aur agar kuch kaam hai then aake baat karti hun,abhi k liye bye..." And then she just went with the speed of light,while Teju chuckled..

As soon as she stopped chuckling, Mia came running into the living room with Karan behind her...While Mia saying, "Mo mamu, Mia don't ike (like) it.."

"Mia,bacha khale warna dii mainu kha jayegi..." Karan said, running behind her...While Mia came and hide behind Teju saying," Cutie dii,save Mia, Mia not ike that.. "

While seeing Teju, Karan just stood there still but then coming out of his reverie said, " Mia, bahar aa piche se, you need to have this.."

But Mia was reluctant and she kept hiding behind Teju but then seeing that this drama is not coming to an end, Teju said,

"Karan, kya khila Raha hai tu isko?? "

"Woh boiled and mashed veggies hai dii ne kaha hai khilane ko but yeh khaye tab na.." Karan replied..

"Mai try Karu??" Teju asked...

"Karle try.." Karan replied...

While Teju took the bowl and went to the kitchen and came back after a while and said,

"Mia baby, chalo let's play a game,okay??" Asked Teju to Mia...

And Mia agreed immediately and then Teju said,"Okay, I will ask you 10 question and if you get it correct then I'll give you a chocolate but before that you need to finish this yummy food.."

And then both continued their game and eating while Karan sat there admiring both of them..

Once they were done, Teju again went to her confused zone on how to talk with him..But then thinking something she said,

"Miu baby, you know Aaj na Aaro bhaiya aaye the, woh lily lily k husband.. you remember?? He used to come to play with you??"

She said this deliberately seeing towards Karan, while our innocent Miu baby got nothing what's going on and hence replied Teju that she doesn't..

While Karan got the whole scenario and smiled,seeing her antics and thought,

"Hadd hai matlab,attention do toh chidti hai aur na do toh aisi cute harkate karti hai..Lekin agar mujhe kuch kehna ho toh saamne se nhi kahegi.."

And thinking so he shooked his head while smiling..

After a while, Mia went to her room to bring her toys and that's when, seeing the opportunity,Karan went and sat beside Teju and said in whispering manner,

"If you wanna say something to me,toh tu directly bol sakti hai.."

As soon as he said so, her expression changed like she got caught but soon she composed herself and said,

"Mujhe jo bolna hota hai, mai woh humesha muh par hi bolti hun, so don't worry.."

And with that she patted his shoulder..

"Hmm, tabhi abhi Miu k kandhe par rakh bandook chala rhi thi.." Said Karan, teasingly..

While Teju turned her head towards other side, hiding her sheepish smile but then she turned towards him face to face and said,

"Acha toh thik hai, let me say this on your face that, Aaro is my good friend,husband of lily,and there's nothing between us that you may had thought.."

"Tujhe kisne bola k maine kuch socha??" Karan asked fumbling..

"Your expressions gave away your feelings.." Teju replied..

"Thik hai..thik hai..but aaj sooraj kaha se nikla hai?? The Tejasswi Prakash, aaj mujhe explanation de rhi hai, wahh..Karan,Wahh!!" He said dramatically, patting his own back..

"Mai koi explanation nhi de rhi thi.." Sahe replied immediately..

"Acha tum kehti ho toh maan leta hun.." Said Karan..

After taking a pause, he said,

"Umm, toh ab se hum friends??Ab mera matlab hai, ab se tu mujhse rudely baat nhi karegi??"

But seeing her expressions, he just said sorry and got from there and went to kitchen.. Rest of the time went playing with Mia..

It was time for Teju to get back home and that's when bidding bye to Mia, she went to Karan and said,

"Jab tak, gussa dilane jese kaam nhi karega, tab tak rudely baat nhi karungi.."

Saying so, she smiled and went away.. While Karan stood there a bit shocked at first but then stood there smiling while rubbing back if his neck..
