21.Still Ignorance??

For a while karan cried in her embrace while teju rubbed his back in order to calm him down not knowing what to say right now.. He too calmed down after a while nd muttered a sorry to her for hugging her to which she just shook her head letting him know that it's okay..

Both sat for a while there enjoying the comfortable silence between them.. Although teju was burning from inside as the past is ringing in her ears right now but still this moment was providing her a kind of peace which she had wished for from a long.. It wasn't much time when karan broke the silence saying..

K: Teju, tujhe nhi kehna kuch??

Karan asked hesitantly.. To which teju replied in a normal tone which is devoid of any emotions..

T: Kya bolun?? Mere pass kehne ko kuch hai hi nhi..

K: Teju,agar bolegi nhi toh baaton ko bhula kaise payegi??I mean..

But before he could say anything further teju spoke..

T: I know what u mean... Karan teri baatein samjh sakti hun.. But na idk mere pass abhi kehne ko kuch nhi hai... Ironically, jab pehle sochti thi na sab initially tab na i so wanted to burst on u.. Jab yeh sab hua tha.. But inn saalon mai na, mai Itni badal gayi k ab bolne ko hi kuch nhi hai mere pass..

Karan was about to speak something but before he could teju spoke..

T: Don't worry I just need some time.. Acha chll ab chalte hai niche as anyways bidaai ka time ho raha hai so.. Let's go..

Teju stood up nd even karan stood up passing a small smile to her but she just nodded her head nd went ahead.. Karan too followed her.. Both went down stairs, soon all the rituals including bidaai got completed, nd even the post marriage ritual were completed nd hence all dispersed to their rooms..

On the one hand, karan was quite happy that finally teju forgiven him nd is being friends with him while on the other hand although teju forgave him but still she was feeling nothing as if she is had nothing inside her, she is all emotion less but one thing she felt was tiredness, not physical but emotional, mental tiredness.. She is tired of everything, nd moreover her past.. But then shrugging her thoughts off about this tiredness nd all she went to her bed changing..

The only difference today was karan went to his bed with a peaceful smile while for teju she wasn't in the state to feel any emotion.. Soon both dozed off as tomorrow is the reception..

It's next morning now, the reception gonna take place in the evening... This morning came with a new kinda freshness for karan while teju was still in the daze thinking now about yesterday's events.. They all then gathered for breakfast... All were having the breakfast when teju received a call nd saying it's important she excused herself nd went aside to attend it..

The call was from her boss, lily who asked her to come back as they are having an important project nd they need her.. Teju is lily's best employee nd even her friend nd hence she knew if lily is asking her to come then the thing is really important nd hence ahe agreed that she would be there till tomorrow evening.. Nd lily said her thank uhh nd even asked her about her how being's... Both had a talk for while then teju went back... She gave everyone a smile... But two person knew it wasn't genuine nd hence decided to ask later... Even teju decided to tell them after reception..

Teju having breakfast, left towards her room when karan followed her,nd called her with her name teju.. Nd listening him, teju didn't said anything to him on calling her teju instead haulted there..

Karan went towards her nd said..

K: *hesitantly* umm.. Kuch baat karni thi..

T: Ohh acha.. Koi na chal mere room mai bethkar karte hai as yaha acha nhi lagega passage mai..

Karan nodded nd both went in her room nd sat in the balcony on the couch there..

T: Haan bol kya hua??

K: Thik hai tu??Ab plss khudko dekh kar aisa na bolna na thik jaisa kuch lag raha hai kya??

T:Hmm.. Thik hu..

K: Toh call attend karne k baad serious side kyu ho gayi??

T: Serious toh hamesha rehti hun konsi nayi baat hai..

K: Bolna yaar!! *whining*

T: Woh actually kal i gotta go back.. Lily, meri boss nd friend ka call aaya tha, she needs me there...

Listening her, karan face fell.. Like he who was happy got sad on listening her news of departure.. But then composed himself soon, before teju could notice but she had already noticed it.. But then seeing him composing himself, she didn't said anything..

K: Ohh acha... Toh kab nikal na hai kal??

T: Just gonna book my flight, may be subah hi nikal jaungi so that shaam tak i get there..

K: Ohhk.. Toh packing bhi karni hogi na??

Karan was trying hard to control his emotions but still teju noticed it nd sighing she said..

T: It's okay apne emotions chupane ki jarurat nhi.. Tu bol sakta hai..

But karan just hugged her, though teju was startled she too hugged him back.. Both stayed taht way for a while but then as usual muttering a sorry, karan backed off to which teju said it's okayy...

K: Fir.. Fir.. Kab aayegi wapas??

T:Umm... Sach kahu toh pata nhi...

Her this statement clenched his heart but then je couldn't say anything further.. But the said..

K: Umm.. I guess tujhe packing karni hogi toh tu karle.. Mai book kardeta hun teri flight..

T: Nahh it's okay, rey kardega...

Though karan wanted to say that he would do but didn't said as he knew they still weren't that close..

K: Acha toh tu karle packing, fir time nhi milega na shaam ko.. Toh ab mai jaata hu.. Byee..

Teju just nodded while he went from there.. Seeing him, she understood somewhat what he felt but she can't de anything nd rather than forcing him to tell she decided to give him some space.. She then called rey to her room nd told him whole situation nd asked him to book her flight so that till then she could do her packing... The whole day went as it is nd soon it was time for reception..
