18.Haldi Day!!

Next morning, went as usual,firstly having breakfast, teju nd karan saw the haldi decor nd preps.. Nd then went to get ready.. Soon the function started... All started applying haldi on sona nd dev.. Nd finally it was teju's turn nd she almost emptied half of the bowl on both dev nd sona.. Dev fake glared her nd said..

Dev: Tera time aane de, tujhe uar tere wale,dono ko pura haldi se bhare bucket se nahela dunga..

T:*giggling* Woh time nhi aayega, aap chahe kitna hi wait karlo!! *nd flipped her hairs*

Dev: Kitna hi na bol le tu,time toh tera bhi aayega.. Jab pyaar hoga na tab pata chalega tujhe..

T: Pyaar naam ki cheez aur meri life mai?? Never!! Acha chalo meri love life discuss karne se better hai apni haldi enjoy karo..

Nd then teju got up nd went nd stood aside.. As karan had already applied them haldi he too was just standing nd seeing teju alone, he decided to talk to her normally, atleast a try.. So he too went nd stood there beside her, although she noticed him but just kept standing there quietly..
Karan decided to end this silence nd finally spoke..

K:U okay??

He said this looking at teju.. But teju just looked around nd then looked at herself nd then spoke..

T:Are u asking that to me??

K: Hmm.. U okayy??

She again saw herself ince, even checked her face in the phone's selfie camera nd then said..

T: Kuch not okay dikh raha hai?? *raising her eyebrows*

While karan was like main kaha jaake apna sar phodhu in his mind but anyways he atleast knew that she would never give the answer straight way to him atleast nd then again spoke..

K: Nahi woh kal raat Tu..

But before he could speak further, she said..

T: Raat gayi baat gayi..

Nd she started walking ahead, going inside the haveli.. Karan too followed her.. As the path was clear like there wasn't anybody present there, so he spoke..

K: Teju, kal raat k liye sorry...

Listening this she stopped nd without turning back said..

T: Kaha na raat gayi baat gayi, bhul jaa..

Nd then said in stern tone..

T: it's tejasswi for u nd u better remember that as I don't like repeating things..

Nd then she started walking further.. But this time instead of calling her, he just held her hand nd pinned her to the nearest wall, holding her hand tight in his grip, so that she can't escape..

K: Mai kuch keh raha hun but nhi tujhe toh bhaag na hai na.. Ek baar sun toh le..

T:*sarcastically yet in stern but a tone showing her hurt..*Tere according mujhe bhaagna aata hai, so m doing what m perfect at..

K: Har baat ka ulta jawab hota hai tere pass, nahi??

T: Sawal jab ulte log puche then jawab bhi ulta hi diya jaata hai unhe..

K: Teju, bas kar yaar, aur kitna ignore karna hai teko mujhe... Bhul jaa na sab, let's be frnds..

T: Ho gaya?? Ab chod mera haath..

K: Nahi, aaj i wanna talk this matter out, mujhe sab solve karna hai, sab sort out karna hai..

T: Sab sorted hi hai karan.. So just leave me..

She said this time in a stern tone.. But karan was determined to have a talk with her but she wasn't nd sensing that he is not gonna leave her, she just pushed him with all her might nd then finally got her hand somehow out of his grip nd just went away.. All this while, he stood there seeing her retreating figure..

On the other side, teju just went directly to her room nd stood beneath shower after turning the shower on.. Her state too wasn't any less than karan, somewhere even she was stuck at a point in past.. As if she still is at that point only.. In all these years, she had only tried to make distance from her past nd that person but still somewhere that thing used to pierce her heart...

While karan too went to his room, nd started punching his hand on wall, letting his anger, his guilt nd every other emotion out.. He wouldn't deny the fact that, teju's ignorant behaviour was stabbing his heart.. He is not able to tolerate her this behaviour, though he didn't expected her to be all friendly with him but yaa he even didn't expected her to keep nahh not keep but maintain the distance with him..

Soon both of their emotions were overpowered by tears with the past flashing in front of their eyes..
