5 days later...

KARAN'S POV;

Ughh... Finally,m in Chicago... But ab aage i don't know what to do.. Like i don't even know her address, neither ik where she works.. Aa toh gaya but ab kya karna hai pata nhi... First of all toh m gonna go to the house m staying.. Actually I thought that rather than staying in hotel,I should go to my dii's house,as they don't live here anymore nd even the house is being closed for a while as dii nd jiju shifted to US just four months ago due to his job and then even dii got her job transferred there... So Lemme take a cab nd land up at her flat man.. M hella tired..

I just reached dii's flat nd much to my luck she has already told some helpers to clean it... Seeing all tidy flat I thought,"Chalo atleast dii ne yeh ek kaam acha kara..ab mai mast rest kar sakta hun without any worry..fir aage ka uth k sochenge.."

Thinking this I went to get some sleep nd luckily being exhausted due to all the rush in last few days, I literally drifted to sleep as soon as I met the bed..

AUTHOR'S POV;

It was around three hours later when karan's sleep broke due to the phone call.. He groaned getting up from sleep nd received the call as it was continuously ringing.. He saw that it was from his dii,he received the call immediately nd talked to her... His dii informed him to go nd buy some food stuff as although she had arranged most of the things but today the helper was on leave nd hence as that helper bhaiya was gonna bring the vegetables nd rest of thing but due to some emergency he can't,so now it's karan who has to go nd buy it...

After ending the call,karan saw that it was almost evening,so he decided to go nd buy some food stuff.. Nd hence Freshening up,he started his journey to the market.. As soon as he reached downstairs,he collided with a man.. Nd soon both of them muttered a sorry without even looking at each other.. But then the other man who collided with karan,noticed him nd being surprise asked,"Tu!!!Yaha??"

Now noticing the person,Karan too spoke,"Ohh,Rey...Hii".... To which Rey too greeted him with a hii nd then asked what is he doing here.. Firstly Karan got confused whether he should tell Rey about the whole thing or should just lie but then decided to tell him the truth.. Nd hence spoke,"Umm..bata ta hun but yaha nhi,kahi aur chal.."

Rey nodded nd then both went to rey's car nd got settled in it,after which karan explained Rey the whole scenario.. Although,Rey was a bit happy seeing karan making efforts for his best frnd but still his protective factor didn't let him hold himself before warning karan,nd hence he spoke,"Karan, dekh ik teju ka woh pretend karna wrong tha but still mai nhi chahta ki woh teri wajah se aur hurt ho..agar woh khud ko tujh se dur rakh rhi hai then kuch na kuch hoga uske mann mai tabhi..Dekh I won't stop u from making efforts as itne time i have understood a thing k Tu banda galat nhi hai,aur tu genuine bhi hai..But inn sab mai what I don't want is teju being hurt..Tu apne efforts daal,try kar but woh hurt na ho uska dhyaan rakhna.."

Understanding Rey's point karan nodded his head in yes nd then asked Rey,"Toh mai teju se milu kaise??".. To which Rey said,"Kal subah,GenZ Gym mai as woh keh rahi thi usko boxing ki practice karni hai as kaafi time ho gaya hai..so it would be perfect"... Karan replied,"Thik hai fir..Mission Teju is on".. But then Karan asked Rey,"Waise tu woh building k pass kya kar raha tha??"... To which Rey replied fumbling a little,"Kuch nhi bas ek dost se milne jaa raha tha..college frnd kaafi time se mile nhi so usne bulaya tha"...To which karan nodded..

After that,Rey dropped karan at the market nd then went from there,thinking something nd smiling excitedly... He then called Teju nd asked her to come to their usual place which is basically near the lake..

[NOTE~ Yeh lake wala mera imaginary place hai..idk yeh real mai exist karta bhj hai k nahi...]

TEJU'S POV;

It was about half an hour later when I reached our adda.. Yess mine nd Rey's Comfort place which we found long back like would be 6 to 7 years ago nd after that time,this place has become ultimate witness of our emotions either it was celebrate or may it be our silence while sipping the beer..

As soon I reached her,I went to our usual spot nd spotted Rey sitting their on one of the rock nd without thinking anything I just went there nd gave a punch on his back due to which he winced nd said,"Ahh..Moti billi kya kar rhi hai?? Lagta hai..mana k Tu part time boxer hai but mai punching bag nhi hun tera k aake sidha mar diya"...Seeing his ultimate drama,teju just made a face nd said,"U deserved it...Tu ghar aa raha tha na fir yaha kyu bulaya??"...

To which Rey replied,"Bas aise hi..bohot din ho gaye yaha aaye hue,so mann kara..Ab akela toh mai aane se raha so tujhe bhi bula liya.." Listening him teju just have an understanding nod while Rey opened a beer bottle nd forwarded her which she took gladly nd both started sipping beer being sitted there in comfortable silence..
