Chapter 4: The Mansion

Kate and Travis ate silently kate couldn't stop stealing a glance at the handsome looking man in front of her ,then kate made a promise to herself that she would make sure the marriage would not turn out to be a contract at the end. Travis told her to follow the condition in the contract and she shouldn't interfere in his personal affairs, well kate signed the contract that means she accepted the conditions. Travis told kate that Mike was going to bring her to the Wilson Mansion kate just nodded in affirmation.
                After the dinner date kate went home and told Mace everything, she knew he was her husband and she won't let any damn contract ruin it for her. Mace couldn't stop laughing at her friends silly love life "hold on kate you said it yourself that you won't fall in love with this guy now what will you call this?" But kate replied that it was love, Mace told her kate to calm down with Mr Wilson because she had heard a lot about him, that his really cold hearted but kate wouldn't want silly gossips to ruin her chance of living a luxurious life.
             The next morning kate packed her stuff and bade her best friend good bye and entered the car. When they got to the Mansion her mouth was agape 'was this a dream, I really really don't want to wake up' kate kept on admiring the environment, she got out of the car and entered the Mansion it was like a palace. Kate's thought how their kids would play and run around the mansion, the maids led kate to travis's room after arranging her clothes in the wardrobe they left the room. Everywhere in the room was filled with Travis scent and she enjoyed it, she lay on the soft king sized bed then she stood up and went into the bathroom and took her bath she opened the wardrobe and took Travis shirt and she put it on and lay on the bed to sleep.
                  When travis returned from work he saw kate laying on the bed with his shirt on he wanted to wake her up but he didn't, when he was taking off his tie then she woke up. "Travis"she called his name softly and he turned to see her awake "go dress up it's time for dinner"he said and walked into the bathroom. Kate changed her dress and went downstairs to the dinning table to see a young girl at her early twenties and a young woman travis mother and an old man and she guessed it was his grandfather but she didn't see his dad anywhere. Kate greeted them and sat down, the mom asked kate questions about herself and kate told them everything about her life, they all loved kate instantly. They knew she would make a good wife for travis, Travis sister introduced herself as khadija Wilson and they both became friends. They told kate what had happened to travis dad that he got into a plane crash on his way home, Kate felt so sorry for the families loss.
