9:12AM
"HURRY UP CHERYL! WE GOTTA GET TO THE CAFE YOU DUMB SHIT!"
I yell out from across the kitchen, to a Cheryl who was in the bathroom quickly brushing her hair. "HOLD UP TONY HAVING CURLY HAIR FUCKIN SUCKS!" I roll my eyes with my smile still present, stepping out the kitchen. suppose I could just get the car started for now....
9:15 AMCheryl hops onto the driver's seat, panting. "Sorry for the hold up,, alright let's get goin." I sigh and rest my head on the seat, letting myself relax.
"I wonder if Allen is actually gonna come or not." I look at Cheryl. "Hm, I don't know Tony. Well hopefully he does! I mean, I assume if he doesn't he has some shit to attend to, and it'll probably be for a good reason." Cheryl smiles at me , rubbing my shoulder to reassure me.
I dare to say, Alastor was, well, attractive. I imagine a lot of women would die just to go on a date with a man with such manners and looks like him. And again, he is pretty popular around here..
"Alright we're here!"
"Already?" I raise an eyebrow at Cheryl, looking out the window, seeing the car parked in the parking lot of the cafe.
"Yup! It's not even that far away from our house, probably like a 10 or 7 minute walk. "
"Well...good thing. I start working there in about 2 days they said right?" I ask Cheryl, completely forgetting what was said in the interview.
"Uuuh yeah, that's what you told me."
I nod, opening the door and stepping out. I was in one of my favorites, a white suit along with pink stripes. My hair was done nicely, curling and going in all the right directions. I felt confident.
Cheryl catches up to my side, opening the door for me and bowing jokingly. Her Australian accent stronger than ever , "The special person were celebrating goes first!" I chuckle at the gesture and grab Cheryl by her arm, dragging her in. "Let's go ahead and sit at the front, so if Allen does come, he can easily see us. "
Cheryl nods and escapes my grip, slightly rubbing her arm. I take a seat near a table that was right next to a window, Cheryl flopping down beside me, leaving the other seat across from us open.
A waiter comes over, seeming sleep deprived, masking it with a happy and cheery mood that was obviously fake.
"Well,, good morning! Hope you two are great on this fine and dandy day, can I get you guys started by assigning you a waiter?"I look up at the waiter and nod, in a 'no'. "Good mornin', and no thanks. We're just waiting for a friend of ours to come." The waiter nods and leaves, heading to other costumers. "Well, Anthony should be somewhere around here..." I look up to the faint whisper I heard, seeing Allen and A slightly shorter women next to him, looking around.
"Hey Allen! Over here!" Cheryl calls out, getting their attention. Allen smiles at me and I smile back. They make their way over and sit down.
"Well hello there Anthony and Cheryl! Good morning! Thank you for the invite out, highly appreciated. Here next to me is my lovely mother , Evelyn. "
The woman waves, smile bright. "Hello! You two must be Cheryl and Anthony. An honor to meet ya'."
I smile at her and so does Cheryl. "Well, thank you two more coming! Your probably wondering why we're here though. Truth is, since recently Anthony got here, he applied for a job andddd got hired! So, my idea, was to celebrate! As it's a huge milestone for him, since he's been on a , more rough path lately you can say."
Cheryl makes eye contact with me at the end, look softening and full of pity. I smile at her and nod, look gazing back to Evelyn and Allen.
"Well then hun, I'm sure things will get better, life gets rough and sadly it's part of it. But I think for you it's heading to its climax, hopefully at least. " Evelyn smiles brightly at me, small chuckle leaving her after finishing.
