Natalie

Emma was really annoyed when Natalie told her that this years Christmas party was going to be small. Natalie only wanted the writing club, and some of the lacrosse guys—because Jacob pleaded with her to have them over.
"What about Micah? Or anyone else? This is our last year to throw a huge christmas high school party! The senior class deserves our presence!" Emma was doing a good job not sounding pissed over the phone but natalie knew this news was upsetting her.

"We can have other parties but Christmas should be spent with family anyways, i'd rather have the company of those closest to me," Natalie said. She turned to Jacob who was laying down on her bed. He was on his phone waiting, silently waiting for her to be done with her phone call. She blew him a kiss and winked and he playfully caught it.

"Nat, you're missing the point, It's our reputation that we have to uphold."

"reputat–Girl it's just high school. You can invite some people but not the whole senior class. Thats final."
Emma gave an exaggerated sigh but agreed to Natalies agreements. The phone call ended and Natalie was free to give her full attention to her handsom boyfriend. She pounced on him and attacked him with kisses. After a couple of a dozen kisses he was begging for a timeout between his laughter.

"Alright," Natalie said "I'll grant you 1 minute of freedom before you're all mine again!"

"How gracious my Queen, i just have one simple question for thee," he said in a knightly tone.

"And I, your beautiful and ever so wise queen, have a simple answer to that question."

"Why did you want a small party? I've only klnown you for a couple of months but in that time i could tell you're so extravagant and like to be the center of attention."

Natalies face twisted at that. "I don not like being the center of attention!" she said, grabbing a pillow and smacking him with it.

"Sorry! Sorry! I just meant that i thought you liked having big parties. I was wondering what changed?"

She plopped herself on her back next to him. He turned and rested his head on one hand to look at her. Natalie didnt have to think hard about it at all. "The big parties were more for Emma, My house is bigger than hers and has a pool so we agreed to host parties at my place." She turned to meet Jacobs face. She twirled her finger around red string coming from the pattern of her blanket.

"I was just happy to have people around. Emma was like a sister to me so i liked seeing her happy and i did also have fun." Then she groaned with a smile. "Minus the clean up."

"Was?"

"Hmm?" She said. "What do you mean?"

"You said Emma was like a sister to you."

"I mean is, same diff." She ponced on him again. "Your minute is up!"
