Heading to the cafeteria with Lysistrata by her side, both engaged in conversation about the disgusting ordeal Coriolanus had presented, she felt a sudden gust of wind as Sejanus swiftly passed her. He approached Coriolanus, who was busily stuffing his pockets with food, presumably for Lucy Gray, and the two appeared to be engaged in a heated discussion.

The notion of having people place bets on the tributes had caught her off guard, leaving her concerned about the person Coriolanus was evolving into. Recognizing Sejanus's radical views, she understood that the boy assumed Coriolanus shared his sentiments. However, Delyth knew this wasn't the case.

As Lysistrata departed, she made the decision to approach the two boys, aiming to diffuse the tension. Coryo was the first to acknowledge her, interrupting Sejanus to offer a greeting. It was evident he had little interest in entertaining the complaints about his idea from the other boy.

"Are you guys heading to the zoo as well?" she asked, secretly hoping for company on the walk.

"I'm just trying to convince Sejanus here too," Coryo remarked.

"You should come, Sej. Your tribute probably hasn't eaten since the reaping. I'm sure he would appreciate some food," she offered a sweet smile. Sejanus nodded, agreeing with both of them and deciding to fill his pockets with some provisions.

Walking alongside Coryo and Sej, she observed Arachne already present as the three dispersed to attend to their tributes. Notably, Sejanus seemed to be facing difficulty persuading Marcus to join him, the food didn't seem to convince him as he slowly turned his head, ignoring him.

Observing Treech seated with Lamina on a rock, she caught his eye. He sighed, displaying reluctance, but eventually rose from the rock to approach her.

She pulled the food out of her pockets as she started "hi Treech, you been alright?" She smiled sweetly.

"About as alright as I can be being treated like a zoo animal," he spoke with sarcasm, emphasizing a valid point. His words carried a layer of frustration.

She nodded in understanding as she turned to observe the individuals treating the tributes like animals. Witnessing the relentless flashes of cameras, she felt a sense of revulsion at the demeaning actions. She noticed the children laughing at them, though she acknowledged it wasn't exactly the children's fault, their participation in such behavior was disheartening. She shook her head at the site.
