The day of the interview dawned, and upon waking, her heart sank — a wave of extreme nervousness engulfed her.

While she sensed Treech's readiness, the undeniable truth remained that he harbored a deep hatred for the Capitol and its citizens. A single wrong word from him could mean no sponsors.

As she readied herself and slung her bag over her shoulder, she made her way down the stairs, only to be halted by the resonance of her father's stern voice.

"Delyth, come here," his voice carried a note of anger. Delyth cast a confused glance toward the source and proceeded to make her way over.

Her mother and father stood side by side, her father holding a note in his hand. Both wore matching expressions of anger.

She approached them slowly as her father handed her the letter.

'Dear Ms Delyth Bardott

I hope this letter finds you well. It is with regret that I write to inform you of our decision regarding your enrollment at our ballet school. We have observed a consistent pattern of missed classes, and despite our efforts to accommodate, your frequent absences have become disruptive to the learning environment.

Ballet requires dedication and consistent attendance to ensure progress and maintain the integrity of the training program. Unfortunately, your extended period of absence compromises the quality of your education and the experience of other students.

After careful consideration, we have decided to conclude your enrollment at our ballet school. We believe this decision is in the best interest of both your personal development and the overall atmosphere of the school.

We understand that life circumstances may lead to challenges in attendance, but we also recognize the importance of maintaining a conducive learning environment for all students. We wish you the best in your future endeavors and hope that you find success in your ballet journey.

Sincerely,

Mademoiselle Seraphina Valencourt
Capitol Éclat Ballet Conservatoire'

Reading the note, her heart sank, prompting her to glance up midway to check her parents' reactions. Their stern faces remained unchanged.

Speechless, she placed the note down and looked up at her father, a wave of terror washing over her. He'd been paying for ballet lessons she hadn't been attending, and the impending confrontation left her in fear.
