"Seeds Of Doubt Plague Me"

Dr. Lee excitedly showed me her working station. She seemed oddly enthusiastic to show me everything. Did this behavior have anything to do with Jin-Sang ? "What is it ? What are you showing me ?" Dr. Lee looked pleased I was interested as she showed me these pills. The pills seemed normal, but I could tell she had been working on them for a while.

"These are emotional blockers. This will be expected of the others to take regularly for a few months."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why would they need their emotions blocked ? "그것이 저에게도 기대되는 것인가요? 제가 이 약들을 먹으라는 것인가요? 감정이 없는 사람의 껍데기가 된다는 것인가요?" (Is that expected of me as well ? For me to take these pills ? To become an emotionless shell of a person ?) Dr. Lee avoided this questioning narrowly as a alarm went off. She rushed to the elevator before it took her to Olympus. She took the pills with her...

I wandered a bit before I bumped into someone. "깜짝 놀랄 일이야, 장준아 날 스토킹하는 거야?" (What a surprise ? Are you stalking me, Jangjun ?) Ugh, this voice. I knew exactly who this was. It was Lady Nam. "Stalking you ? Don't be so full of yourself. I clearly was on a walk to clear my mind some." She smirked as she fell into step with me. The nerve. She seemed too calm for someone who potentially was getting rich off people wanting to "speak with the reborn gods". 

"A walk ? You do realize that there is a lot at stake ? The Ahjussi seems frustrated you're acting this way, Jangjun." Soon enough we reached the temple. People were all over as they either prayed at certain statues or just admiring the things around them. We whispered in the corner. Then I gave her my answer, "What do you know ? You are only a pawn to him. Jin-Sang doesn't really care about what I do. He may be annoyed, but I will not be a god for him. I refuse to exploit anyone..." 

Lady Nam sighed as she mentioned something to me. Something she couldn't have known without being told. "You offended them, Jangjun. You act better than them because your family wants you. I think that says what kind of reborn god you'd be. A spineless coward..." She left me with this as she went to talk with some citizens. 

"북쪽으로 가세요. 저한테 갈 거예요. 얘기해야 해요." (Go north. It will lead you to me. We must talk.) It was nothing but a whisper. No one was next to me. Yet, I heard this. I rushed out of the temple & followed the message. I went north. I reached a house outside of Ophelia City. Was this a Syn.D facility ? I slowly approached the door only to have it open upon me getting ready to knock. 

"Jangjun...", the voice was familiar. I let the tears pool in my eyes as I was now face to face with my older brother, Yujin.
