Part 6, Chapter 5

"Only Artemis & Apollo Remains"

These two particular sanctuaries were closer to each other than the others. I guess I should've expected this somewhat. Though very different gods, they are twins. Artemis & Apollo. 

I came up on the side that belonged to Apollo first. The structure itself was entirely gold. Gold that glittered & shimmered with the light of the sunlight covering it. The air smelt of clove & cypress. Hyacinth is planted everywhere with scattered laurel trees. 

The inside was casted in shadows with slight sunlight shining in. I found Taehyung hyung rather quickly through the dark. A wonderful skylight reflecting rays from the sun inside where his throne sat. "Not in a particularly good mood, hyung ?", I asked this as I slowly got closer to him. "뭘 원하는 거야, 장준야? 난 네가 아군에 대해 알고 있다는 걸 알아..." (What do you want, Jangjun ya ? I know you know about the child army...) I rolled my eyes as I quickly assumed one of the others had warned him of what I'd be coming to ask about. That or he has some sort of person spying on me. But I don't think spying on me  is something any of them would ever do.

"Are you not worried this has gone on long enough ? Are you not worried for those kids you're making your army ?" Taehyung hyung looked sad for a bit before he responded. He seemed troubled with the question. This is when he said the last thing he seemed he could muster to say on this issue, "I won't argue this any longer, Jangjun. Speak with the Ahjussi if it bothers you so much..."

In my anger, I said something I truly didn't mean. How can they not be concerned about this ? "What if it was you future child, huh ? Would you enlist them to be in an army for money ?" What Taehyung hyung said next ended the conversation as the room got blindingly bright. "The light will always cast out the darkness... Don't you know who I am ? I see far more than you can ever wish you'd see..."

I made my way into the sanctuary of Artemis. Jimin hyung' domain... The entire place was silver with an otherworldly glow from the moon. It was honestly beautiful how simultaneously a moon & a sun could coexist so closely together. The scent of Cypress mixed with the nearby scent of clove.

Amaranths were planted everywhere & pearls were embedded in the walls. A few deer roamed around peacefully. Amethyst crystals surrounding the throne. Jimin hyung spoke as he heard me come in, "아이들 걱정하는 거 알아요, 장준야. 다른 사람들은 네가 한 말에 다들 화가 나있어..." (I know you are worried about the children, Jangjun ya. The others are all very upset with the things you've been saying...) 

I scoffed as I responded. They are angry with me ? They should be angry with Jin-Sang & themselves. "Upset with me ? I have said nothing, but the truth. Those children shouldn't become soldiers !"

Jimin hyung nodded as he planted more amaranths around the open spaces of his sanctuary. All the sanctuaries were open in the sense you could enter them from several directions. "I am not saying your wrong, but we aren't forcing anyone to be in our armies, Jangjun."

I pushed further as I kept note of all of this. My brother will be hearing of this the next time I see him. "Aren't you a bit interested in knowing why the Ahjussi is giving you armies ? Why do these armies have to be comprised of children ?"

Jimin hyung sighed as he said something that seemingly gave way to emotions I thought he was devoid of. Especially give the fact that all of the hyungs were on the EBPs... "Twin. Hunter. I am only known for these things. Why does no one ever see that the home I give to wayward youth is to give them their own strength ?" 

All of them were fully associating with the gods they were supposed to be. So why am I so worried this means Park Jin-Sang has more sinister plans ahead ?
