Someone told me that all good stories start with 'Once apon a time.'
But honestly, is this story really good after all?
You and Ghost were in Russia, a mission that lasted already a few months and you were getting fed up with him. You two were in one of the safe houses resting for the night, it looked abandoned so no one questioned anything.
"Do you ever talk?" I asked as I stared at him from across the room, he laid on one of the cots.
"Do you ever shut up?" He growled, his tone cold echoing across the room.
A few seconds after he said that, we heard people talking outside in Russian. A few seconds later, shooting started coming to the house, bullets after bullets coming through the one broken down window. Shit.
"Fuck! Look what you did!" I screeched as we took cover.
"What I did?" He said in a dominant and cold tone as we both ran out the backdoor into the cold forest
As we ran and ran, I soon felt a stinging feeling in the back of my thigh. I started to slow down quite a bit and we still haven't gotten away yet.
"Shit, wait Ghost." I managed to choke out as I kept trying to run.
"Hurry the fuck up. What is taking-" He said and then looked down at my thigh, seeing blood glush down from it.
"Fuck." He whispered harshly out, running back over to me and picking me up in his arms as we were still getting shot at.
I can't lie, it was hot. I liked it, damn he looked good as he carried me in his arms so easily. The farther he ran into the dark forest, the shooting got quieter and quieter until it stopped.
He set me down so I leaned against a giant tree. I groaned in pain as I looked down at my thigh, shifting slightly.
"This'll hurt." He said in his thick British accent as he stuck out his ring and middle finger up to my lips.
"Bite down if it gets too bad." He whispered as the fabric of his gloves tickled my lips.
