When I woke up we were in another safe house, it was closer to base and we needed the food ammo. I woke up in a cot and quickly got up, pointing my gun at a figure in the other side of the room.

"Don't shoot, mate. It's just me." Simon said as he got a bit closer so I could see him outside the shadows.

I lowered my gun. "You scared me.. but, how come you didn't wake me up when you got out the forest? I'm a light sleeper." I asked curiously, one of my eye brows lightly raised.

"I have my ways." He said while smirking under his mask.

Whatever. I didn't respond to him and his weird comments. All I knew is that I fell asleep in his arms last night and we were here now.

"So.. last night?" I said, wanting an answer for his actions.

"What about it?" He asked, acting like it was normal.

"When I fell asleep.." I paused. "I was in your arms. Why?"

"Let me ask you, would you have fallen asleep if you weren't?" He questioned.

"Probably not." I replied surprised.

"Then stop complaining and keep it our little secret." He whispered as he went to go look at the food we had on the shelves.

I rolled my eyes, he was annoying yet he had some sort of charm I was attracted to. I couldn't help but wonder if he would go back to how he normally was after this mission was over, yet we still had one or two more months on it.

After a few minutes of no one talking I glanced back at him, he was still looking on the shelf.

"How long was I sleeping like that.. in the forest." I asked, being curious like I always was.

"I just came here 10 minutes ago, so the whole night." He gave me my answer, I was surprised, I thought he left me on the cot by myself in the safehouse, but instead I stayed in his arms all night.

I looked down at my thigh, I wasn't wearing my bloody jeans anymore, I actually didn't have any pants on at the moment but I had a blanket. I saw that he put an actual bandage on my thigh and looked up at him.

"You changed me?" I asked in surprise.

"I wasn't looking." He said nonchalantly.

"Then how did you put the bandage on me, dumbass." I caught him and he knew it also as I chuckled slightly.

He mumbled something inaudible to himself then looked back at me on the bed, I put the blanket off and tried to get out of the bed. Before I could, he went up to me swiftly and stopped me from getting up.

"Your hurt, no." He commanded as he towered over me.

"I'm fine." I shrugged him off.

"Don't fuckin' lie to me, mutt." He growled as he crossed his arms, looking down at me.

I grumbled, then glanced back up at him. Looking a little frustrated, annoyed, and hurt.

"What was that, mutt?" He asked in a cold and domination tone as his hand went up to grip my chin tightly, forcing me to look up at him.

"Nothing Simon.." I said in a harsh exhale.

"Good, that's what I thought." He mumbled as he still didn't let go, we just started at each other for awhile.

A couple minutes later, he let go, looking a little disappointed that he had to, but he knew that we had to get moving.

"We have to go soon." He whispered to me as he sat down next to me.

He offered me a clean pair of pants, my size. What a coincidence. Not like he was stalking me or anything.

As I started to put them on, he took it out of my hands and put the pants on me gently, then buckling everything softly.

I looked up at him, smirking. "What was that about?" I asked.

He got up and offered me a hand, I accepted and he pulled me up to my feet.

"Your hurt." He answered.

"Yea my thigh, not my hands." I said, a little shocked at his antics for the last few hours.
