Chapter seven: Lost my mind

I stepped into the hallway, and a hush fell over the entire space. After successfully sneaking out of the main family's place, I made my way to the minor family mansion. Surprisingly, no one asked me any questions and they opened the gates for me, pointing me towards Vegas's office.

I lightly knocked on the door of Vegas's office, and I heard him say, "Come in," in his usual voice. As I entered, there he was, sitting at his desk with papers scattered all over. He was shirtless, wearing only black pants, and the chains around his neck were shining. His hair looked all messy.

He stood up and a small smile twisted on his lips. "Finally," he whispered before wrapping his big arms around me.

"I didn't come here to stay yet," I said, glancing up at his face. The muscle in his jaw tightened, and his smile disappeared, but he didn't let go of the hug.

"You'll get caught like this," he warned.

"Khun Kim already knows, and he hasn't done anything to me yet. Trust me, I'll be safe for a few more days," I reassured him, resting my head on his shoulder.

"Khun Kim already knows, and he hasn't done anything to me yet. Trust me, I'll be safe for a few more days," I reassured Vegas, feeling a mix of anxiety and relief. I leaned my head on his shoulder, seeking comfort in his presence.

"Kim knows? How did you find out?" Vegas asked, his voice filled with concern as he held me tighter.

"I have my ways," I mumbled, my voice barely audible as I buried my face in the crook of his neck. I didn't want to reveal too much, knowing that it could put both of us in danger.

"I'm not letting you go. What if you get caught? I'm afraid, Pete," Vegas whispered, his worry evident in his tone.

"I understand your fear, Vegas. But I've planned everything carefully. I won't let anything happen to me," I said, trying to sound confident even though I felt a knot in my stomach. I leaned in and placed a soft, short kiss on his lips.

"Pete?" Vegas called out, his voice filled with uncertainty.

I looked at him, waiting for him to continue.

"What?" I asked, my voice gentle and curious.

"I'm not letting you go with just a kiss,"

"You mean you want more?"

"No, I mean, you can't manipulate me with a kiss and go back into that dangerous situation," Vegas clarified.

I didn't answer back, instead, I attached my lips to his. I don't know what's got into me.

The kiss started tenderly, a soft exploration of our lips, but soon it ignited into a passionate flame.

I want to stop the time.

Our mouths moved in perfect synchrony, Our tongues dancing in a passionate tango. Every touch, every caress, was filled with an intensity that sent waves of pleasure coursing through my body. Vegas's hands roamed freely, exploring every inch of me.

I loved that.

As the kiss deepened, Our bodies pressed closer together, and my chest raised and fell in sync. The heat between us grew, My breath mingled as I lost myself in the intoxicating embrace.

I need to focus before I lose my mind.

Time seemed to lose all meaning as we continued to explore each other's lips, savoring every moment of this passionate connection. It was a kiss that left me breathless.

I'm losing my mind.

Finally, I reluctantly pulled away, my lips still tingling from the electric charge that had passed between us. Our eyes met once again, filled with desires.

In a single heartbeat, Vegas's hand reached down, toward my pants.

Fuck!

"You are hard, Pete"

I miserably lost my mind.
