'Yan ang ilang beses na inulit-ulit ko sa isipan habang tumatakbo palayo sa kung saan man ako galing. Can't this day just get any better?

First day na first day but I've been encountering bullshit since the start. This is why I hate going to College.

"Hmm? Karis, speaking."

Fuck it.

"I need your help." Hinihingal hingal 'kong saad habang tinitignan ang likuran ko. Seems like natakasan ko na ang mga gunggong na 'yon.

I could hear a chuckle from the other line, "I thought you don't need my help—"

"I've ran into trouble!"

"What? Where are you? May masama bang nangyari sa'yo?"

"Napaaway ako. I'm at the back of the building earlier."

"Napaaway?"

"Do I have to repeat it twice?"

"Wait, is it a catfight or something?"

"Dispatch ka ba? they're all no good but nothing dickheads, Karis!"

"Oh God, wait. I'll call Aries for back up—"

Sino na naman 'yon?

"Luceria!"

That Jason guy is really pushing his limits huh?

"—Astrea, are you alright?"

"Tanungin mo sa'kin 'yan mamaya." With that, I ended the call and exhaled deeply. I just regained my energy. And I'll spend the last ounce of it to face these jerks.

Pinunasan ko ang butil ng pawis sa noo ko bago lumabas sa tinataguan ko, I observed the place that we're in, tago talaga siya kaya walang mga taong nakapaligid sa'min. I saw the two guys na napahiya ko kanina sa klase, their lips were both busted because of my punches earlier.

Serves them right for trying to beat me up together with their minions.

If I remember it correctly, yung isa si Jason, the one who's ego is bigger than his brain. And the other guy who's whole presence is unforgettable is named Alec.

Papunta na dapat ako sa susunod na klase ko kanina but they all cornered me, nasa mga anim ata sila kanina. The other four are unconscious sa kung saan man sila ngayon.

They really thought that they can take me down for being a woman, pero 'di nila alam na laking kalye din ako.

I've fought on the streets before, minsan nga ay pinagpustahan pa ng mga tambay doon. Kung hindi mga babae ay mga lalaki naman ang kaaway ko. Palagi pa akong pinapagalitan ni Tita Sandra dahil kada uwi ko ay may pasa ako sa mukha at sa ibang parte ng katawan ko.

I only defended myself, hindi ako pinalaki ng mga magulang ko na mahina, dapat daw ay lumaban ako ng patas at manindigan sa kung ano ang tama at nararapat.

And that's what I'm doing right now as well.

"You'll pay for what you've done to us! Do you see what you did to us, you bitch?!"

Galit na galit, gustong manakit.

Eh isang sapak ko lang sa kanya kanina, muntik na mawalan ng malay.

"The fact that you called back up and tried to beat me up is indeed one of the funniest things you've done to make yourself look dumb. A-plus for Effort. Kaso, effortless naman na dapat." I can't help but to let out a sarcastic chuckle. "Anim na nga kayo, wala pa rin kayong binatbat. Just shows how entitled brats like you don't really know how to fight. You're just straight up bullies."
