Tim's pov:
When we got home Tamara went to her room and only would come out to go to the bathroom. So I thought to go check on her she wasn't handling this good so I needed to protect her from herself.

Normal pov:
Tim knocked on Tamaras door.
Tamara didn't respond so Tim went in.
Tamara quick dried her eyes and sat straight up.
T: no need for that.
Ta: sorry I just can't stop crying or thinking about it.
T: don't apologize for that.
Ta: hey erm thank you.
T: for what?
Ta: being here for me.
T: every parent needs to do that.
Ta: Yeah I know but you're nothing biological from me.
T: family isn't about blood, it's about how you feel.
Ta: can you erm, lay with me? I want to sleep but I can't really fall asleep.
T: sure, if you want that.
Tim went to lay next to Tamara and she cuddled up on him.
After a while she fell asleep, and Tim went to his room after kissing the top of Tamaras head. The next morning Tim couldn't sleep anymore so he went to the living room and put on the TV when of a sudden Tamara came out of her room.
T: I'm sorry, did I wake you up?
Ta: no I was awake earlier but I didn't want to sit here because I didn't know if you were up or not.
T: do you need anything?
Ta: first of all, thank you for yesterday, I felt safe and not alone.
T: That's why I did it.
Ta: can we talk about it?
T: if you want to.
Tim's head: this is gonna be difficult.
Tamara sat down on the couch and looked down to her hands.
T: so how are you doing?
Ta: besides losing my mom, dropping out of school and cry the whole day I'm fine.
T: can I help you?
Ta: I don't know...
T: Well you know your mom was proud of you right? And that she never wanted this to happen. She'll always watch us making her proud.
Tamara started to cry.
T: hey, come here.
Tim grabbed Tamara and hugged her like a baby.
Ta: I can't do this, not again.
T: Yes you can, you're one of the bravest people I know, and you're strong. You know, I see a little Lucy in you.
Ta: really?
T: Yeah, you two have so much in common.
