Something broke in the living room of Malik household.Malik Zubair gets mad in anger.Fire poured from his eyes.His father,Malik Mukhtar tried to calm him down.
"Shant ho jao Zubair."
"Kaise baba?Kaise shant ho jao.Woh Murtasim phir ek baar baji mar di.Maine pehle rishtan diya tha Meerab ke liye aur dekho rishtan uske sath tei ho gaya aur nikaah ke tarik bhi pakka ho gaya.Woh humesha mujhse ek kadam age kaise chala jata hai baba.Kaise?"
Malik Mukhtar makes him sit on the sofa and said;
"Hum kar bhi kya kar sakte hai beta.Waqas Ahmed ne bataya mujhe yeh rishtan Meerab ke paidaish ke waqt hi tei ho gaya tha.Bhul jao us rishten ke bare mein."
Malik Zubair tried to calm his nerves and said;
"Socha tha agar Meerab se shadi kar lu to uske sath sath woh zamine bhi mujhe mil jayega jo uske naam hai.Jaha woh Murtasim khan apna kabja jamake beitha hai.Mujhe woh zamine chahiye baba aur Meerab bhi."
Malik Zubair rubbing his hands on his palms, he cursed Murtasim a thousand times in his mind. Anger are evident in the eyes. He did not know that Murtasim will fixed his marriage with Meerab so soon.One day in the road of Karachi he meets with Meerab.Later he finds out she is daughter of Anwar Khan.As much as he was attracted to Meerab,he grew more greedy for the land that under Meerab's name.The fire of anger is burning inside. Holding that anger in his eyes, he said with a hiss,
"Murtasim khan mein bhi dekhunga mere khwaish chinkar tu kaise khush rehta hai."
Malik Mukhtar thinks he have to control his son otherwise there will come a strom and ruin everything.

Murtasim entered the room and called his informant men there.In a very calm voice, asked;
"Kiya khabar hai?"
The man lowered his head and said briefly;
"Nahi khan.Kuch din se Meerab bibi university nahi gayi.Ek dafa bazar gayi thi Anila bibi ke sath lekin Malik ke bande nazar nahi aaye as pas."
"Thik hai.Agar malik ke bande as pas nazar aay aur Meerab bibi ko koi nuksaan pouchane ke kosish kare to bina use unhe goli mar dena.Aur yeh hukm hai mera.Lekin Meerab bibi ko ek kharoch bhi aaye to mein tum logo ko zinda dafna dunga."
Murtasim sitting on the chair with a serious face.Those man nodded his head and left the room.

Nikaah day is arrived.Meerab is all ready to become a bride.She wears a red wedding attire and long veil on her face.She goes towards the stage and her best friend Saba with her.She says;
"Meerab tum yeh sahi kar rahi ho?Please think again."
Meerab sighs and looks at Saba's face.She does not know what is really going on in her thoughts.Saba again says;
"Dil pe uska ekftiyar mile na mile lekin jism mein jarur milega.Apni haq halal ke biwi se woh dur thori rahega.Tab kya karoge?"
Meerab sparkles inside but doesn't show it outside.It's not like she didn't think about it. But there is no other way to back off from her decision.. Several times in a row she swallows and takes a deep breath.Saba is still looking at her face.
Meerab sits on the stage and Anwar khan comes to her and about to put his hand on Meerab's head.But Meerab gives him an angry glance and he takes back his hand.
