At night,Meerab is making coffee in the kitchen.Suddenly she hears some footsteps from the outside.She turns around but nobody was there.She pay attention to her chores then again hearing someone running in the outside.She goes to near the window to look for the sound.But she didn't see anything.Suddenly she feels something standing behind her.Meerab gets scared but she gathers her some courage and turns around her head.She looks up and see Murtasim is smiling at her.Meerab hits on his chest and says;
"To tum the jo mujhe dara rahe the."
"Nahi to.Shayed tumne safed kapre pehne kisi churail to ko dekh liya hoga."
Meerab faking smiles and says;
"Yaha pe kahin pe bhi mujhe Haya nazar nahi aayi to kaise dekhungi churail."
Murtasim patted his beard and said;
"Haya to churail ki sardar hai.Tumne uski kisi sagred ko dekh liya hoga."
Meerab bursting into laughter and saying;
"Aab bas bhi karo."
Murtasim asked her;
"Tum batao kya kar rahi ho adhi raat ko?"
"Sar mein dard hai to Coffee bana rahi hu apne liye."
"Ek cup mujhe milega."
Meerab goes to the oven and says;
"Apne liye bana rahi thi.Ruko tumhare liye bhi bana deti hu."
Murtasim stopped by holding Meerab's hand and said in intoxication voice;
"Ek hi cup mein pite hai.Suna hai jhote khane se mohabbat mein izafa hota hai."
Meerab looks at Murtasim and she is lost in his eyes.Murtasim softens her cheeks and says;
"Lagta hai tum tayar ho woh khas lamhe ke liye jaha hum ek dusre pe mohabbat lutainge."
Meerab gets over from her dizziness and says;
"Kya bakwas hai Murtasim?"
Meerab trying to hide her blushing face and paying attention to boiling water in the oven.
Murtasim made her turn around to him and said;
"Aise sharmaoge to lamhe ko khas banane ke liye intezar nahi kar paonga.Lamha abhi ban jayega."
Meerab lowered her eyes.Murtasim up her face and said;
"Lekin mein shiddat se tumhare taraf se mile izazat ke intezar kar raha hu."
Meerab takes away her gaze out of shyness.Murtasim turns around to him and says;
"Agar zuban se kehte huye sharam aa jai to mujhe ek ishara de dena.Samajdar hu mere liye isharai kafi hai."
Meerab's whole body gets numb and her heart beats goes up.She trying to manage herself and making coffee with trembling hands.Murtasim looks at her condition and pressed his lips and smiles at her.Then he takes mug from her and he makes a coffee for themselves.
Murtasim standing leaning against cabinet.Meerab sips on coffee and Murtasim asks;
"Coffee kaise bani hai?"
"Acchi hai."
Murtasim takes the coffee mug from her and sips from the place where she sips and asks;
"Banai kisne hai"
"Meerab ke shohar ne."
Murtasim smiled at her.
