EPISODE 05 : EAT AT BARATIE!
( Out Hearts Speak )

IT GREW DIFFICULT for Estrella to find Roronoa Zoro after he ran off to 'prepare' for his battle at sunrise.

She searches for him inside the hull of the Going Merry on the hunch that he hid somewhere on the ship but finds no trace of green hair and those familiar honey-tinged eyes.

Eventually, the brunette finds the swordsman standing by the back deck, hands caressing his swords as if they are his most precious possession.

"Nervous?" She asks the man as she takes a step towards him. Her voice is light — Hints of caution intricately embedded into her suave tone.

Estrella joins him in watching the starry sky. Zoro doesn't reply to her question, but it's obvious what his answer is.

"You should be. Mihawk is the best swordsman I've ever met." She hums.

"Is that supposed to make me feel better?" The green-haired man scowls.

The woman lets out a quiet chuckle, reminiscent of wind chimes clinking softly together.

"Who said anything about making you feel better?" Estrella raises a brow. "I'm telling you the truth. You're fucked."

"Thanks for the support." He grumbles, eyebrows knotting together in suppressed emotions. Estrella offers him a gentler pat on the shoulder.

"Good luck. Don't cry when you die. It'll be super embarrassing when I bring you back to life." She grins slightly.

The pirate hunter raises his eyebrows in surprise, his scowling face slackening. "You can do that?"

The cursed woman bites back a bitter laugh, her face passive as she stares out into the abysmal ocean.

( Oh, how she wishes she could ).

"Of course not, you idiot. I'm saying that you won't die." Estrella rolls her eyes.

There's a sweet sort of silence that envelops them as they watch the stars. Estrella feels warm despite the cold breeze blowing strands of her hair both in and away from her face.

"What you said when we met in Shells Town, that's your dream?" Estrella breathes out a small exhale.

Zoro nods, his green hair the color of jade in the star-lit darkness.

"Becoming the world's greatest swordsman won't be easy. You're lucky I'm not considered one, because I would wipe the floor with you." The brunette quips, the growing breeze giving her voice a little more volume.

Zoro lets out a deep chuckle. "Yeah, right."

Estrella joins him in the laughter. At last, the man knows how to distinguish her sharp jabs called jokes.
