Dear Reader,

On the 2nd of July, 2023, I found myself transported back to the past. There existed moments where I never experienced solitude before the onset of dull episodes. In those times, a few individuals formed my circle, yet regrettably, we often forgot to capture group photos. Perhaps preserving memories in videos or audios would have been wise; our hearty laughter reverberated, transforming every chilly atmosphere.

I chuckled as I recalled old jokes we told. We had known each other since childhood, and our innocence forged bonds that held us close-shifting from kids to teens and almost reaching the cusp of adulthood. Our disposition was joyful, and our aspirations, much like us, were refreshingly uncomplicated. Sitting together, we brainstormed ways to break conventions, although in hindsight, those dreams might have been more ambitious than we acknowledged.

As time progressed, some among us found comfort in our own paths, unintentionally forgetting that others might still be struggling in shoes that had pinched since childhood, through adolescence, and into almost adulthood. We became individuals we had sworn not to, unintentionally abandoning the ideals we had embraced.

On the 2nd of July, I missed each of you dearly. I revisited the old drawings we sketched, and I believe you should too, for despite the fading hues, they retained a timeless charm.
