Dear Reader,
The absence of purpose or love can disrupt a person's world, which is why I resist the idea of closure. Contemplating my legacy, I also consider what would occur if one day I woke up and someone I hadn't shown love to was no longer here. Regret would accompany the sense of loss, as I'd envision what we could have shared had they not departed.
Sometimes, we mustn't lose something to recognize its significance. I'd rather appreciate their value now, for if they vanished, the hurt would be immense, knowing I hadn't made an effort.
In the event of an unfortunate circumstance, I'd prefer to hold onto tangible memories rather than vague imaginings, as it would be too late. If there are polaroids, I'll never forget their face no matter how much I age. Offering love today is crucial because the future may take unforeseen turns. While you can apologize for errors, there might never be a chance to hear them say, "I forgive you."
Dear Reader, on the 30th of December 2023, I learned to express love and demonstrate the importance of people, reducing the potential sorrow if one day they're no longer with us.
