what I imagine some characters would have done for work when not competing. 

Salt: hairdresser

Pepper: nail artist 

Paper: Law Student/lawyer- finished his degree after season 1 and before s2 e7. OJ/ Hotel OJ was his first client). 

Fan: Chinese food worker (I think I saw somewhere that this is cannon too? Idk.)

Lightbulb: Worked at some sort of kid's jungle gym or indoor playground. The kids loved her. 

Paintbrush: freelance artist. Mostly did commissions on Twitter (no I will not call it X Elon can fuck himself)

Test Tube: aerospace engineer/rocket scientist 

OJ: front desk clerk at a hotel. I think it's cute to imagine he worked at one and now owns one.

Clover: therapist 

Candle: Psychic medium, but a legit one with reasonable prices; not a fake one that'll charge you like $200 for 30 minutes (can you tell I've had bad experiences with psychics? lmao). I also like to think she owned one of those crystal shop stalls that pop up in shopping centres/malls that she worked at during the holiday time. 

Suitcase: fostered kittens.
