She's infertile. This really upset her, but now she has Bot and it explains her maternal instincts over them. She and Fan can't have a biological kid (Brian kinda confirmed Fantube btw) so she sees Bot as her child because it's the closest she can get to it.
Now that we know objects have parents and kids, it's only made me headcannon this more so I thought I'd put it here.
