Serena's pov
I was now deep inside the woods, all alone just like last night. Above me, clouds gathered, growing darker and heavier, casting shadows on the ground.
Distant sounds of animals echoed, contributing to the unsettling symphony. The rustling of leaves and sticks beneath my feet added to the haunting soundtrack.
The cold, clammy air clung to my skin, and the ground became uneven as I walked further away. Each step making me feel even more scared
Exhausted, I stopped, sitting down on the ground. My chest moved rapidly as I tried to catch my breath.
Raindrops began to fall, falling onto my forehead and mingling with my tangled hair.
A sudden growl sliced through the air, causing a lump to form in my throat. Fear seized me, and I swallowed heavily.
Slowly turning my head, my eyes widened as I found myself face to face with an angry wolf, its gaze intense and predatory.
Time seemed to freeze as we locked eyes, the rain intensifying the tension between us. My heart pounded in my ears.
No. No. No
Staring into the wolf's eyes, it's intention was clear, it wanted to kill. Its growl cut through the air, and it step towards me, each step dripping with menace.
Panic sets in, making me wish I had stayed there and waited for Sebastian.
I stood up, backing away slowly. But it only seemed to anger the wolf even more. Fear gripped me as I started running for my life, the wolf hot on my heels.
Desperation kicked in, and I threw anything within reach-stones, sticks-in a attempt to stop the wolf.
The wolf closed the gap, launching at me with force, and soon, I found myself trapped beneath its weight, the forest floor pressing against my back.
The chilling reality of my vulnerability struck hard, and I braced for the worst.
My screams echoed through the desolate woods, a desperate cry for help that went unanswered.
"Please don't kill me. " I begged, tears falling down my cheek.
I can't die. Please not like this.
The wolf's fangs sank into me, tearing through flesh and bone, searing pain coursing through every fibre of my being.
The world blurred as agony enveloped me, and the cold rain mixed with warm blood, creating a chilling tableau of torment.
Summoning every ounce of strength, I pushed the wolf off me, its menacing growls reverberating in the damp air.
Crawling away on hands and knees, the pain pulsating with each movement.
The rain intensified, washing away the mixture of blood and raindrops that clung to my trembling body. Every moment seemed an eternity as I struggled for survival.
Pain coursed through me, as the wolf sank its teeth into my leg again and pulling me back.
I'm helplessly dragged across the mud. The world spined, a disorienting whirlwind of pain and fear as he dragged me away.
Each passing second becomes an eternity, and I grapple with the harsh reality that my desperate struggle for survival may be slipping away.
I'M GOING TO DIE,,
