KANO STATE, NIGERIA.

It is definitely going to rain with stones today, since something impossible has happened in the household of the Shugaba's. Today when Maha had went to wake Azra up for fajr prayer, she found out that the young woman was already up and about. Only her namesake, Maha whom they all call Mahi was asleep, she was sprawled out on the bed in a very funny position. To be exact, when Maha opened the door, she caught her daughter taking pictures of Mahi, she knew she would keep making fun of her with the pictures once she woke up.

"Instead of you to wake her up, you are busy taking her pictures." Maha said as she sat on the edge of the bed with a smile, she loved her life, she loved how it was peaceful and simple. Non of them allowed their royal titles to make them feel superior, what happened with Ayman's step brothers is an example.
"Nur kema dai kinsan halin Mahi; you also know how Mahi is." Azra said, her voice always seemed to change whenever she spoke hausa and the words came out melodiously.
"She is a heavy sleeper, yeah I know." Maha said as she rolled her eyes playfully.
"Now let me wake her up the way mothers do." Maha said as she stood up and cleared her throat dramatically. Azra knew her mother is up to something, she is the same person who says she won't behave like other mothers because they are strict, overdramatic and annoying.

Walking towards Mahi's side of the bed, Maha pinched her exposed skin and the girl smacked her hands away, Azra and Maha giggled softly at her actions. Suddenly Maha placed her mouth close to Mahi's ear and whisper shouted,
"The house is on fire!" Abruptly and rather unexpectedly, Mahi jumped up from the bed, almost pushing Maha and ran to the door, the room was quiet for sometime after Mahi left as both mother and daughter gazed at each other in amusement trying to hold their laughter.

The door flung open and an angry Mahi stepped in with a bird nest hair and one of her trousers raised to her knee, the guilty mother and daughter duo could no longer hold back their laugh as they burst out while Mahi crossed her arm and kept glaring at them.
"Nur how could you do this to me?" Mahi said still glaring.
"Sorry baby but I knew you were awake."
"I just needed five more minutes."
"You say that everytime and those 5 minutes turn to 20 minutes." Azra said, Maha laughed again and then she stood up and went towards the door, she stopped in front of Mahi and pecked her forehead.
"Sorry namesake." Maha said and with that she left the room. The moment Maha left the room, Mahi turned to look at Azra with a hard glare,
"You!" Mahi said as she pointed an accusing finger at Azra who stucked her tongue out, mockingly. That was it! Mahi ran towards Azra and jumped on her, the both fell on the bed as Mahi began to tickle Azra.
"Alright, I'm sorry." Azra said amidst uncontrollable laughter.
"Promise?" Mahi said and Azra who was still being tickled could only nod her head, Mahi got off her and then went towards the direction of the bathroom but before entering, she turned and showed her her middle finger and Azra rolled her eyes.
..............

Azra hummed the song of woman by Doja cat as she walked towards the dinning room, as she neared the dinning room she purposely increased her voice in hope of annoying her mother and brother. They were the only who said she sang like a frog being choked and she knew they were right, her voice is terrible! She got a pretty face and a sweet voice when speaking but not when singing, she was surprised that none amongst them had started shouting at her to stop singing, she increase her voice again thinking they didn't hear her but as she reached the dinning hall she realized why they were being so quiet as all eyes turned to her but one eyes caught her gaze as her eyes bulged out in embarrasement.

Ummita and her sons were present and Zayn and his family but it wasn't them that made her feel embarrased about her voice, it was the fact that Amir was currently looking at her with one of his eye brows raised and an amused smile. With a cute pouted and a glare, she walked towards the dinning table and sat down. When her eyes met Azran's he smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"Nice voice." Amir said, the only available chair was the one close to him, her heart was thumping loudly in her chest as she sat close to him and the beautiful smile he had on his face wasn't helping matters.
"Daddy! Amir is bullying me." Azra whined, she only called Ayman 'daddy' whenever she wanted to behave like a spoilt brat.
"Even me that is 23 isn't behaving like this." Mahi said.
"Tell her." Malik added.
"Pops is the one spoiling her." Azran added.
"Ye--"
"Can you guys stop talking about us as if we aren't here?!" Ayman said.
"Yes and you Malik, I thought you are my bestfriend." Azra said as she glared at Malik.
"Of course I am, sweet cheeks." Malik said with a toothy grin and Azra rolled her eyes while everyone laughed.
"Good morning aunts and uncle." Azra finally greeted.
"Morning dear." Zayn said.
"Morning sweetie." Both Taslim and Ummita chorused.
