Chapter 1

Amy Fleming is the youngest daughter of Marion and Timothy Fleming. Their eldest is Louise Samantha Fleming, who has an M.B.A. in Business Studies and Lives and works in New York, she takes after her father, whereas Amy is very much a duplicate of her mother. There's no love lost between Lou Fleming and her sister, Lou has always been jealous of Amy, and all because she is a true cowgirl, just like her father and mother.

Amy was born in 1992, when Lou was 15 years old, and she wasn't happy about her father paying all of his attention on this baby instead of her. She even refused to hold baby Amy when they brought her home from the hospital.
Lou tried anything to get his attention, but it was always her sister.
When Amy was five, Lou left home to go to NYU. New york was an hours flight from Toronto where the family had a small holding of 100 acres.
Marion helped horses, and Amy was as good as her mother.
Lou was a bit of a snob, and as she grew into her teenage years, she started looking down on the family home as an embarrassment.
She couldn't wait to leave, and she did when she reached 20 yrs of age.
Lou liked hanging around the rich people and being invited to all the parties.
She did work hard and was going up in the world where she worked. She was now earning three times more than when she started ten years ago.
At one of the parties, she met her fiance of five years, their getting married in one week, and none of her family had been invited.

Amy was now 16 yrs old and doing very well at school. She walked in and found her father quietly knocking back a bottle of Bourbon .
"Dad!!!!" What's wrong? This isn't like you. Please tell me."
"Mind your own bloody business girl, your mother wants your help to pick up a horse, I offered, but she just wants you, apparently."
"Okay, Dad, we will see you later then, bye."
Amy walks out. She knows not to push it when her dad has or is drinking. Her mum has probably already said something to him, and that's just made him worse. She see's her mum just hitching up the trailer.
"Hey Mum, what's Dad in a mood for this time."
"Well, he was supposed to come with me to get this horse, but you saw the state he was in."
"Yeah, I didn't stay in there long."
"Amy, please promise me you will never stay in the house on your own if your father is like that. You've never seen him when he gets really bad love, I've managed to hide it from you up to now."
"Mum, does he hurt you when he's drunk, ,,, Well, does he!!!!."
"Come on, Amy , let's get this horse before it gets dark, please."
"Okay, but I'm taking your lack of an answer as a yes to my question."

After driving for almost an hour, they finally get to their destination. It doesn't take long to sort out business and their soon back on the road.
"So mum, why is dad in a mood and drinking heavily? Please be honest with me, mum!."
"Okay, he was a bit of a gambler and an average drinker, but he never got really drunk. He got help for it, then he changed back into the man I fell in love with. He was fine, then he phoned Lou asking her to come home for your 16th birthday, she refused and a big argument broke out. She said things that she could never take back, that's when he started drinking again, I also think he's gambling again. If he is, he may owe someone money."
"Mum, we can't afford to pay his gambling debts."
"I know we can't love. Please don't worry about it, okay?"
"Okay, Mum, fancy the radio on."
"Yeahhhh why not."

They started singing together, and they sounded great, always did.
They were driving back, singing to the songs, then Amy turned the volume down, it was a warm evening, and the windows were open.
Amy thought she heard Sirens as did Marion, and around the bend up ahead, they saw Blue and Red flashing lights from the Police or ambulance, so Marion started slowing down.
Just as they got to the corner and started going around the bend, a great big 4 X 4 approached them followed by four squad cars and they were all on the same side of the road as Marion and Amy and other vehicles behind them , traffic in the other lane had stopped to let the police chase pass them.
There were screams, and the noise of tearing metal, the bang of metal hitting metal over and over as the Cruisers slammed into the mass of what was two separate trucks, and trucks behind Marion slammed into the Trailer.
Police Officers and the people in the other vehicles all rushed to help those they could.
The Police Helicopter had been on its way to help with the chase but was just minutes behind, It could of prevented this had it been the New Model they'd been asking for, for the last four years they'd been asking and begging for a more up to date model. They explained that they couldn't get parts for it anymore.

Emergency services were on their way. The large 4 X 4 truck hit Amy and Marion's truck, hit head on, then flipped up and over, landing upside-down on top of their truck.
Marion and Amy were both unconscious and pinned in, and both their bodies were in positions that were unnatural and obviously, causing them a lot of damage.
News helicopters were already there videoing the Chase and caught the terrible crash and aftermath.
People were watching their TV's as the Fire Crews were dousing every Fire that kept breaking out, and others were trying to cut the driver out of the top truck so it could be taken away.
Then they could start cutting Marion and Amy out. Emergency Paramedics were trying to keep Amy and Marion stable. They were both in a critical situation.
