Taerin's Pov.

Past.

"No it's fine." I replied as he patted my back.

"What do you want to do Taerin? I heard from the sports teacher that you aren't the same anymore." He recalled and I frowned.

"I just can't move like before. I'm not scared but I just can't." I sighed, annoyed with myself.

"Then what is it if not scared?" He asked.

"That's the thing. I can't figure it out." I groaned.

"Do you want to try playing? Maybe it'll clear off your mind." He shrugged. I accepted..I wasn't afraid at all. I took off my blazer and my teammates passed me the ball.

"You've all gotten shockingly stronger." It was hard catching it, as a force of wind really came to me.

"We're working extra hard for you, unnie." They lightly spoke and I jogged to them. Running wasn't that bad actually-

But I knew I spoke too soon. I dribbled and there appeared someone who came at me. I instantly dropped the ball and tripped backwards. I gasped, and everyone came to check up on me.

"Taerin..Maybe you are having trauma." My coach lifted me up. "But we'll work on it. Right girls?" Everyone cheered but someyhing was off.

_____

I flopped on my bed, sighing multiple times. But I recieved a phone call from my other trainer, from Taekwondo. "Taerin. I heard about the injury. Are you alright?"

"It's not good..I'm so scared against everything now." I groaned, throwing my pillow at the other end of the room.

"You should speak with your Dad about continuing lessons." She suggested and I clenched my fists, knowing my Dad would never pick up.

"I will." I hung up.

I then had gotten used to everything. I was just an average player now. I still had fun though. But I quit in my last year, had everyone suggested I should stop overworking my knee. I agreed since my doctor had also told me.

"Damn..It's raining..I need to get to school on time though." I huffed, I glanced at my knee and shook my head. I sprinted for the bus who was just about to leave.

But since the marble was so slippery, I felt my knee click and I knocked over somebody. I saw the bus drive off already. "Ah-!" I slowly brought myself up, seeing the person in pain. Blood was dripping from their head. "Are you okay-?!" I ignored my uniform being drenched and worried for the person.

"Someone call the ambulance!" More of the public came and much happened in such a short notice.

I recieved therapy again as my bone moved slightly and it needed to be worked on again.

Luckily that person was fine and just left with a bruise. I was stuck in the hospital for way less than last time.

I found myself in that same situation again on the way home. But I didn't learn my lesson from the last time it rained. My friend was running with me for the bus and my knee gave up on me.

It wasn't terrible that time but more and more, I saw that it happened everytime I was running in the rain.

______

Present.

"Yeah." I added in conclusion.

"I'm sorry that, that happened to you. It must've been the worst." He exhaled. I agreed and it was a slow silence as the rain kept pouring down. I met his eyes and he met mine.

From the corner of my eye, I saw our hand intertwined. "Uh- Weather is great! Isn't it?!" We separated and we both panicked.

"Sure is haha!" I joyfully, scratched my head as we continued. The rain sounds were repeating and we both stopped at the same time.

"You should stay over!"
"Can I come over?!"

We both stared at eachother blankly then his eyes diverted somewhere else and I followed his eyes down..to my..

"HEY!" I smacked him as he looked ahead.

Since my shirt was white, you could see through now..I covered my hands by folding my arms and we continued walking.

We made it back to my house and I went to go shower quickly, so Seungcheol could go straight after.

I raised a brow, hearing a phone vibrate on the table. I didn't see mine so I supposed the vibrating phone was mine. I walked to it, seeing..

A name called Miyeon. Then they hung up and I saw the chat between them.

"I shouldn't be snooping." I shook my head, seeing my phone also on the table. I reached for it and I had gotten a missed call from my Dad. A coincidence when I talk about my Dad not being there for me?

I still heard the shower running so I decided to pick up the call. "Dad." I sighed.

"Taerin. Uh you have a visitor coming over soon. He's a friend's son and he needs a place to stay."

"A guy?" I raised a brow, leaning on the table.

"Don't worry. He's a gentleman." I've never heard my Dad sound so reassuring before. It makes me want to vomit.

"Uh huh..And when is he coming?" I asked.

"I think tomorrow." I gazed around, seeing much of my things in a mess.

"You could've told me earlier Dad.." I groaned face palming myself.

"My bad. Thanks anyways Taerin." He hung up without a goodbye and I placed my phone back on the table, processing what just happened.

"You're kidding me.." I complained, flopping back onto the couch.

"Taerin?" I made myself more proper and I saw his head peeked out. "You didn't give me a shirt..." It was an awkward silence.

"Yeah- hold on. Just stay in the bathroom." I was complaining about a guy coming to live with me but here I have, an idol sleeping over..for like the 3rd time now..

But it's different! That son is going to LIVE with ME! Everyday I will wake up to see that guy's face! I smacked the wardrobe with anger, forgetting Seungcheol was nearby.
