Taerin's Pov.
"You're so hard-headed! Just call me if you figure it out. Jeez!" He slammed a piece of paper into my hands as he walked past me.
"How the hell-?!" I was bursting with anger before I could actually read the card. HYBE company?. I kept it in the back of my phone and sighed.
I texted Jimun and she read my message.
Although she just told me to enjoy my time..But that guy ruined my time to be honest. Like..okay no one should stop me from having fun but I didn't feel like it anymore.Skip.
I started up the coffee machine as I slumped against the counter. "You seem a bit upset Taerin. Did you not go to that concert?" My colleague chuckled whilst she wiped the counter.
"I did..But..I also didn't." I replied with no absolute motivation going through my words.
"What happened..?" She lightly smiled awkwardly and I blabbered my story onto her. "Daaamn..That must've been harsh." She continued.
"It was!-" Then someone came through the door. I got the cashier ready and placed my hands on the counter. "Welcome to Seoul Coffee. What could I-" I glanced up, tapping on the counter before seeing the same guy.
"IT'S YOU!" We both synced in, pointing at each other. When I looked to my colleague, her jaw was wide open..I wondered why she was so shocked.
"G-Go..Speak to him. Just come back when you're done." She stuttered on her words as I was still slightly confused.
"Give me a moment." I said to the guy and then went to the back to take off my apron. Afterwards I returned, going out of the café with him.
"Have you thought on something?" He raised a question whilst I stared at him. I had no idea what he was talking about at that moment. But then the image returned back to mind.
"What are you taking me for? What are you, rich?" I scoffed, annoyed at his rich sounding attitude.
"Maybe?" He just smiled, looking straight ahead.
"Don't be shitting me!" I made distance between us and he just laughed.
"Don't you want anything?" He then questioned again but I didn't bother to look at him.
"I'll just use that card when I'm in a jiffy, if you're so prone to helping me." I continued to have that bratty tone at him.
"Well..Use it at what you need. But..I'm not going if you need me for your friends." He stopped to take a peek at me.
"You're acting as if you're famous. I wouldn't do it anyways." I folded my arms as the wind blew past. He just gave me a soft smile and looked away from me.
"You know. I like you." He said. "I'll walk you back to the café." As I was about to say something he ended the conversation abruptly.
"You're weird." I puffed out my cheek as he brought me back to the café. "Anyways. Stay safe." I turned my body around as I then went around the counter. But as I faced back at the doors..He was gone.
"Taerin- You're..back!" My colleague ran to me instantly, taking my hands.
"Yeah?.." I tilted my head at her.
"That's Choi Seungcheol! S.Coups!" She was flailing about.
"Who?" I asked, never hearing that name ever. And..S.Coups?
"FROM SEVENTEEN! LOOK!" She suddenly yelled as the customers all took a glance at us. She bowed to them before shoving her phone into my hands.
I watched the videos. As I watched the MVs..It really was him? Now that I thought about it..I never asked for his name. I've..BEEN ARGUING WITH A K-POP IDOL?!
I placed the phone down then grabbing my hair out of frustration. "His fans are totally gonna hate me if they found out about this!" I exclaimed, panicking to my colleague. "I've been so bratty to him! I'm so stupid!" I crouched down, feeling guilt wash over me.
"Make it up to him when you see him again." She suggested, lifting me up from the floor. I dipped my head down as if I were being scolded.
"And how would I do that?." I frowned at her and she gave me that Motherly grin.
"Try and welcome him into your heart." I raised a brow at her conclusion and understood no word even though it had been my Mother language she had spoken.
"Uh..Okay?" I continued because I didn't want anymore blabber ringing inside of my head.
"By the way..I planned to close up early. The last customer is almost done and I need to head off to my next job." She paused, letting go of my shoulders.
"Even though you own this café?" I questioned and she laughed.
"How do you think I pay the bills?!" She patted me and I was really clueless.
"By working at this restaurant..too?" I just replied and she continued cackling at me.
"Girl. And how do I pay you?!" She wiped her eyes.
"By..recieving money here from customers?" She banged the counter loud while holding her stomach. What did I say wrong?!
"Taerin. Your innocence and clueless self is funny. I wonder if it'll be helpful to you in the future." She smirked, leaning on the counter after calming herself down.
We cleaned up the place before we split up. As I held my bag, I stared at my phone, just scrolling around. And then the word SEVENTEEN returned back to my mind.
I was on instagram at the moment so I decided to see if they existed. From the views they had on their songs..They must be popular.
I saw "S.Coups" in the photos. He had blue hair in this MV. He was good looking the more I pictured his face again. He also has a charm to him..It was intriguing.
I still genuinely felt indifferent about him. "You're acting as if you're famous."
"DAMN IT! THAT'S SO EMBARRASSING!" I then got the peak of cringe filling me up. WHY DID I SAY THAT?!
