48. Have I?

Taerin's Pov.

"Even though we're the same age..You've completely changed for the good. I would let you go just for you to be happy. I would let you be best of friends with SEVENTEEN and forget about me." She pulled me into a hug, still talking.

"I would never leave you for anyone else." I added, sighing a bit. "You and Unnie have helped me with so much..That's why I'm where I am now." I closed my eyes.

"I never regretted a single minute of spending time with you..And I never will." She then pulled away, fixing my clothes.

"Thank you for always being with me..You, Nari Unnie..and Unnie." I nodded.

"Thank you for finding happiness." But then a short silence built up between us.

"What do you mean by that." I grumbled, staring at her.

"Ugh! Don't play dumb! You like S.Coups!" She smacked me, pushing me away.

"Wait- what-?!" I wiped my face, trying to keep myself under control.

"Don't do me like that Taerin!" She stomped her feet, running away.

"Wait- You can't run away! This place isn't familiar to me! JIMUN NO!" I ran after her in panic.

Hoshi's Pov.

"Yah! Hyung!" Dk patted my hand and I returned to reality.

"Dk." I turned my head towards him. "Yeah?" I tilted my head awaiting his sentence.

"We're in the middle of practicing.." He tapped on my shoulder as I realized everyone was staring at me. I was in the center with everyone's eyes on me.

The trainer also looked at me with funny eyes and I twitched, looking at Dk and then stumbled back a bit.

I was tired but I felt amounts of pressure placed onto me out of nowhere. "Hey Hoshi? Are you alright?" The trainer approached me but I shook my head. I then saw S.Coups gaze at me with pity.

"I'll be back.." I ran out, slamming all the doors open, needing air.

"Hoshi-!" I just sprinted past everyone, not caring about anything.

I left the building in a rush and then as the fresh air entered through my nose, I saw Taerin standing in front of me. "Taerin.." I mumbled, shocked to see her.

"Soonyoung-" She raised her eyes at me. "Are you okay?" She asked and all I could do was just be mesmerized once again. I shook my head and then ignored my feelings.

"Yeah! What're you doing around here?" I placed my hands on my hips with a big smile.

"I was walking around..And Jimun is off to buy some food so I came across here." She replied, taking a look at the whole building. "It's real nice!" Anyone would be lucky to even get to say good morning to her.

"Can I do something?" I said, furrowing my eyebrows.

"Sure. What is-?" Before letting her finish, I pulled her into a hug.

"This'll be the only time. I'm sorry that I wanted to be a little greedy for once." I held her close to me..This would be the closest I would ever get.

"You can always ask me for a hug if you feel down!" She chuckled. But it was way more than just asking. It hurts that I never stopped liking you the moment we came across eachother in those hallways.

"Thanks. It's good. I don't want other people getting the wrong idea." Especially for S.Coups. How obvious could it be?

"Alright- Dk!" She then waved.

"Taerin? And hyung!" Dk ran to us. There was a slight pause as Dk looked at me. I blinked signing him not to mention it and I guessed that he understood my wish. "You should've told me that you just went to go see Taerin. The trainer would've gladly given you a break." He laughed, nudging me. Has he been taking acting classes more?

"It's just rare to see Taerin..I was in a rush really." I chuckled and Taerin looked at us with just a blank stare.

"Don't think too much. We were just practicing and Hoshi needed a break." Dk patted her shoulder.

"I don't need to worry! I know Soonyoung is mature." She smiled at me and my heart skipped a beat.

"Ahem. Anyone mind telling me when you guys will come back?" Then Jeonghan appeared. "Coups would've came himself but the trainer kept him back for leader things." Jeonghan shrugged. "And hi Taerin!" He waved.

"Hi Jeonghan!" She grinned.

"How have you been? You're still pretty!" He smiled, playing with her hair.

"I've been doing good. And..How can you say that when you're pretty yourself?" Taerin laughed as they both played with eachother's hands.

"Taerin!!" Then Jimun appeared from the sides. "Hey guys!" She jogged over, passing a cup of ice cream to Taerin. I was craving for ice cream at that point.

"Why are you eating ice cream in winter-" Jeonghan raised a brow, suspicious and Jimun had already finished her ice cream with one whole bite.

"Because ice cream is good!" She exclaimed. Taerin was still carefully eating. I eyed the ice cream and then she noticed I was looking. I faced away with embarrassment.

"Here. Say ah." Jimun got a spoon from out of nowhere and Taerin fed me.

"T-Thank you." I dipped my head down, still surprised.

"Taerin! Me too!" Dk squealed and Jeonghan shoved him instead.

"She was adorable when she did it!" Jeonghan yelled as they fought for the line.

"I want ice cream again. Feed me aswell, Taerin!!" All 3 of them were now begging to be fed ice cream. Taerin looked nervous as if she had no more bread to feed for the ducks.

"I don't even have that many spoons.." Taerin chuckled awkwardly but Jimin just kept pulling out more. "How many did you get?!"

"I got around 20+." Jimun simply shrugged, giving the other 2 a spoon.

It was funny how they all were fighting for one cup, whereas Taerin was just enjoying her split of the dessert.
