65. Shy Over You.

Jeonghan's Pov.

I was scared to see her reaction. I squinted my eyes tight but she cupped my face. "Jeonghan..I don't know why you're trying to make me so happy. I know that I've just broken up with my ex boyfriend but I'm strong enough." She laughed, scruffling my hair.

She..thought I was just joking? "Jimun..No you don't get it!" I pulled her back, closing the elevator doors again.

"What?" She raised a brow at me as I only felt flustered to say it again.

"..I really like you. Why can't you take my feelings for real.?" I slammed her against the wall of the elevator as I saw her eyes shift left and right..

"Jeonghan..Maybe you need to just-." Of course she was rejecting me like this.

"Please. Let me have one chance at proving my love." I held her warm hands in between my cold ones. I didn't know I could've been so nervous at a time like this..I've mever confessed first before!

"It's not that Jeonghan. I just..need you to give me more time. More time to move on." Her hand slipped down from my shoulder down to my hand.

"Just as long..No one else will get in the way." My hands quivered a bit as I spoke, rather nervous for some reason.

"I promise you. I need time for myself too. Do you understand?" She was way more mature than me. I can't believe I was pushing myself onto her even after knowing her breakup.

"I'm sorry..I understand." I took a step back. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to-" I was panicking whilst apologizing but she shook her head.

"Do you think you can wait?" My heart said yes whilst my mind told me I should just give up.

"Longer than you think." I replied and she exited the elevator.

"I'll see you at the studio then." She waved. It was better if we didn't stay in the same elevator, goodness sake. But..I confessed. Out of the blue aswell. Why did I do that?! My heart was burning..

I tried to cool myself down before heading back to the others for work. I acted as if I were pracfically normal. Normal..I said..

"Hey Jeonghan!" Coups waved at me and I instantly tripped up. I started sweating again as he came to assist me. "Are you okay?" He snickered, making fun of me.

"Yeah!" I squinted my eyes. "Let's go to the others!" I exclaimed, being so full of energy.

"If you say so..!" He shrugged, following me. We prepared the shoot not long after and I went to go sit on a chair.

"What's up with you today..You accidentally hit our producer-" Shua took a seat beside me.

"Nothing-!" I turned for a water bottle on my side but then I elbowed him. "Shua-!"

"Ack-" i saw him place a hand over his forehead. A visible place too..! Why am I freaking out so much?! That made everyone look our direction too!

Then I noticed Jimun not far away from us. When I went to stand up I tripped over the chair. "Jeonghan-!" Shua reached out for me.

"Just let me die.." I weeped innerly, embarrassed of my existence.

"Oh dear."

Taerin's Pov.

"I think that's all of them." Unnie came out the back and then placed down the box. From that, she wiped her sweat.

"I agree. These are a lot of boxes anyways.." I leaned against the counter, putting my phone away.

"Thanks for helping me out today." She hugged me tight. "I'll soon be coming to you all." She then back off with a smile.

"I'm so glad." I nodded.

"But aren't you going to sell the house?" She questioned. "I mean you technically don't live here anymore." She made a great point.

"I don't know why I'm still keeping the house. I guess I could put it up for sale." I shrugged.

"I also heard you got to meet your Mum! Did it go well?" She wrote on a few post-its whilst continuing to speak.

"It went surprisingly well." I scratched the back of my neck, kind of flustered.

"Oh..Speaking of her now-" Unnie looked to the door and we noticed my Mum approaching the café.

"Mum!" I opened the doors and she got shocked. "Sorry-" I shrunk a bit, restraining my excited mood.

"You scared me! How are you?" She grinned, patting my back.

"I'm good! What are you doing here?" I smiled.

"Nari said I could see you here." Mum glanced at her surroundings. "And I see you have Lim-a with you." She mentioned.

"Hello Ma'am!" Unnie bowed. "It's great to see you!" She had a huge grin on her face.

"Bright as ever..I'm glad you didn't change." Mum nodded in agreement and then looked back to me. "When are you moving?" She asked.

"Around 2 days from now." I just listened in the conversation they had.

"I'll see you back in Seoul then!" Mum smiled.

"Likewise!" Unnie bowed once again. "You can go with your Mum! Thanks for your help Taerin!" Unnie waved.

"Bye unnie!" I exclaimed, waving back. "Thank you!" I then followed my Mum out.

"Do you want to go to that shop?" She pointed over at a teddy bear shop.

"Oh..Sure!" I agreed. We entered in the shop for a person to greet us. I slowly drifted to another aisle where I saw a mother bear and the little cub.

"Did you find something?" Mum walked over back to me.

"Yeah..It's a Mother and her cub. It's magnetic too!" I showed her, I never got something like this before.

"Let's get it then!" She smiled, seeming pleased with my decision. I searched through for my wallet but she looked at me weirdly.

"Is something wrong?" I raised a brow, pausing for a moment.

"What are you doing?" She asked, glancing at my hands with the wallet.

"I'm..going to pay?" I tilted my head and she shook her head.

"Don't! This is my first gift for you." She gently pushed the wallet back in my pocket. "You shouldn't be paying." She shook her head, getting out her wallet.
