Kyra's POV Sunday, October 03 1:51 p.m.
I walk out of his bathroom, dressed in only his t-shirt and my underwear.
We didn't have sex, we just took a shower together.
Which surprisingly lead to nothing.
I'm not complaining though, he's still mad at me so I'm trying to avoid sex right now.
"Yah spend di night wid mi?" he asks, grabbing my waist and pulling me towards as he sat on the edge of his bed.
I frown, looking down at him.
"I kinda have to leave tonight."
"Kyra do-"
"Hear why first before yuh get upset, my professor e-mailed me saying I should hand in my unfinished assignment on Tuesday."
Which I'm not finished doing by the way.
He hisses. "Deevn memba seh yuh have school."
Yeah, and I'm not going to be a college drop out.
"I only have a couple months left, I graduate next July." I tell him.
"Oh..."
Yeah, oh.
"Wah yuh major?"
"Architecture."
He raises his brows, as if surprised. "Real ting?"
"Weh yuh know bout Architecture?"
I giggle. "At first mi neva know nun but after studying it for three years, mi know weh mi need fi know fi get di degree."
And that's all I care to know.
Architecture is a difficult major, it takes up a lot of time, hard work and dedication.
But because I want to make my parents proud, especially Daddy who saved the money for me to go to college, I persevere.
I have to make them proud.
"And pon top a dat, mi a run the Real Estate firm. Although I was thinking about hiring someone to do it because it's getting a little overwhelming" I say in one breath.
He listens keenly, while rubbing my waist.
"But if mi mek sombody tek it ova, mi feel like Daddy ago disappointed inna mi because mi neva carry on him legacy."
I exhale before continuing. "So weh yuh think mi fi do, balance the firm and school or hire someone?"
Maybe I should just balance the firm and school, because I only have a few months left.
"Mi feel like yuh fi get somebody fi deal wid it Ky, mi can only imagine how busy yuh be because yaav so much tings a deal wid."
