Kajay's POV Tuesday, October 12 5:32 p.m.
A couple hours earlier...
"A cya shake yah shake ova desso" I chuckle, seeing from the corner of my eye that she was indeed nervous as I drove to the pharmacy.
She stays silent and that lets me know she was beyond nervous.
Jah.
I take one hand off the steering wheel and rest it on her exposed thigh since she was just wearing my t-shirt that stopped below her butt.
"Nuh you seh yuh sure seh yuh nuh pregnant suh weh yuh ova deh a fret fah?"
"Mi nah fret I'm just thinking about what if I actually am pregnant, like weh mi woulda do?" she sighs deeply.
"Weh yuh mean weh yuh woulda do Ky? A cya dash yuh wah dash weh mi yute" I ask, feeling myself get upset.
"Never have, never will Jay but I'm just saying. Being a mom is a lot of responsibility"
Dat a true but mi think we can manage.
"Mi know dat Ky, if yuh pregnant then mi woulda affi buy a house fi all a we live inna and yuh know dat anno one problem cause mi have the money" I tell her, as I drive into the pharmacy's parking lot.
"I know money isn't a problem Jay, I have money too but I'm talking the other important things."
I find a parking spot not far from the entrance and before anyone could take it, I quickly back inside.
"Like wah?"
"I don't know nothing about taking care of a child Jay, mi not even can cook that good. I'm still learning each day" she sighs as I turn the car off.
Jah, here comes the overthinking.
"Before we talk bout dem sumn deh mek we get di test first" I tell her, before opening the driver's side door to get out.
She lets out a loud sigh before she follows suite, exiting the car as well.
After she got out, I close the door then lock it with my keys.
"Gimme yuh hand." I tell her, when I got around to her side.
She puts her hand in mine and we walk towards the entrance together.
