before the games part two: Mizzen

after we ate our sandwiches, Coral started discussing possible allies "I think Treech and Tanner would be good allies, their strong, but not as strong as I am, I know I could easily beat them in a fight." Coral's confidence reassured me, knowing she knew what she was doing made me feel a little more confident about our plan "I agree" Ryhlee put his hand in the center with Coral's "if Ryhlee's on board then so am I!" I also put my hand in "why not?" Eliana joined us. "who's going to go recruit Tanner, he's right over there. We should invite him when he's alone" Coral said, "I can do it, he looks nice" Ryhlee offered, him being nice as he usually is. "Incorrect miner boy, he is violent and mean. last night I saw him hit his district partner because she asked to team up with him. Mizzen can you please go with him, just in case." Coral asked "of course, come on Ryhlee, let's go recruit someone into our ranks" I joked, helping him up.

 I could tell he was nervous by the way his hands wriggled, and I took one of them, rubbing the back of it comfortingly. he immediately calmed down and picked up his pace until we met Tanner. "What do you two want? here to recruit me or something?" he looked down at us, and I was ready to punch him the face if needed. "Actually yes, that's exactly what we're trying to do. Do you accept?" he sighed and stood up straight again. "I'll join your group, thanks for the offer" he walked off, and Ryhlee and I went back to report to coral. 

"So?" coral asked "He said yes" I said "but you're right, he is rude" I added. "I told you so!" Coral and Eliana started laughing at us, they were pretty happy that they could prove us wrong. I would have been mad if Ryhlee hadn't started laughing, which caused me to laugh. In two days, we were going to participate in the hunger games, but we couldn't be happier. Us four, 13, 14, 15, and 16, were all laughing like giddy teenagers, and I wouldn't have anyone else here with me.
