Sitting on the couch in Aizawa's apartment, I relaxed completely.
My book was interesting, but I couldn't get over the fact that I was feeling at home. So much at home.
Like, sooooo much at home. I had never felt at home like this in my entire life!

The front door opened, making Aizawa appear with stuff in his hands, as well as his leather bag over his shoulder.
I ignored him as I continued reading my book.
It was also strange how when a parental figure entered, the feeling of home didn't change. It was like Aizawa and home now belonged together. Like... I cared about him? Nah, not possible, when have I ever really concidered someone my parent?

Yeah... that sounded more sad than I wanted it to.

"So, you did well today, in hero training." Aizawa put his bag on the dinner table, putting the packages down as he threw his white scarf over one of the chairs.

The grip on my book got tighter.

"I've got something for you."
Aizawa handed me over one of the packages.

Curiously I looked at it, "What is it?"

"Open up, it's a present."

My eyes widened, "No way, you got me a present?"

At my smile, Aizawa looked away, "Just open it."

I nodded and did so, finding a phone and a phone case.
"No way..." I mumbled, my eyes probably bigger than Dobby's by now (may he rest in peace lmao).

Aizawa shrugged as he closed his eyes, "You wanted one."

My grin couldn't get wider, "Thank you so much!"

Opening the phone I set the language and other stuff. Aizawa had gotten me all sort of stuffs, from a provider to all sorts of phone complicated I'm stupid haha stuff.
In other words, all I had to do was download stuff and put numbers in the phone.

As I set an alarm on my phone I thanked Aizawa again.
I wouldn't have to suffer the screaming alarm anymore!!

This was truly the best day of my life.

"I've got a second present," Aizawa said.

I tilted my head, "A second one? Wasn't this expensive enough?"

"You'll get the second one once you get rid of your caffeine addiction—"

"I shall cry."
As if Aizawa got to say that!?
The words left my mouth and suddenly Aizawa let out a soft laugh.

"That was a joke, it's yours," Aizawa said unexpectedly.

In surprise I blinked.
"Whoa, I didn't think you could do that."

"Do what?"

"Joke."

Aizawa gave me a weird look.

I realised how strange it must have sounded I laughed awkwardly, "The anime shows a depressed cat guy who's on caffeine as his drugs—"

"Alright, enough," Aizawa waved the words away, annoyed at them. I quickly grabbed the second present before he could find another reason to not give it to me.

Opening it, I smiled, "Noise cancelling headphones."

"You earned them," Aizawa said, "I'm glad you're getting adjusted and all."

I realised what Aizawa was talking about. God it was weird that I was from a different realm.

Ignoring it, I turned to Aizawa, "You're the best, thanks for everything."
