Sophie's Note: now, for a one special part for Tighnari, the news about the death of Pelé, was broke when I was on the BBC News at 10 PM.

Cyno had planned a surprise party for his best friend and former schoolmate Tighnari, who was turning 28 on December 29. He had invited their mutual friend Collei, who was also a graduate of the Sumeru Akademiya, and two special guests from another world: Naga Munchetty and Fiona Bruce, who were famous journalists and broadcasters in a place called Earth.

Cyno had met Naga and Fiona through his work as the General Mahamatra, the leader of the Matra officers who enforced the Akademiya's integrity. He had been fascinated by their stories and insights about their world, which was very different from Teyvat. He had also learned that they were fans of a sport called football, which involved kicking a round ball into a net. Cyno thought that Tighnari, who was an avid researcher of plants and animals in the Avidya Forest, would enjoy meeting them and learning more about their culture.

Jokes put aside, Cyno had arranged for a portal to transport Naga and Fiona from Earth to Sumeru, where they would join him and Collei at Tighnari's house in Gandharva Ville. He had also prepared a cake, some gifts, and decorations for the occasion. He hoped that Tighnari would be happy and surprised by his gesture.

Tighnari had no idea what Cyno was up to. He had spent the day as usual, exploring the rainforest and collecting samples for his studies. He loved his job as a Forest Watcher, who helped maintain and protect the Avidya Forest from intruders and dangers. He was proud of his achievements and contributions to the Akademiya, where he had graduated with honors. He had also made some great friends along the way, especially Cyno, who was like a brother to him.

Tighnari returned to his house in the evening, tired but satisfied with his work. He opened the door and was greeted by a loud chorus of "Happy birthday!" He blinked in astonishment as he saw Cyno, Collei, Naga, and Fiona standing in his living room, holding balloons and streamers. On the table, there was a cake with candles that spelled out his name.

"Wow, Cyno, what is this?" Tighnari asked, smiling.

"This is your birthday party, my friend," Cyno said, hugging him. "I wanted to do something special for you. You deserve it."

(Sophie's Note: maybe "my love," would be better. 🤭)

"Thank you so much, Cyno. You're amazing," Tighnari said, touched by his friend's kindness.

"And these are our guests from another world," Cyno continued, introducing Naga and Fiona. "They are here to celebrate with you and share some stories about their world."

"Hello, Tighnari. Happy birthday," Naga said, shaking his hand.

"Hi, Tighnari. It's a pleasure to meet you," Fiona said, smiling.

"Thank you for coming," Tighnari said, feeling curious about them.

"Come on, let's have some cake," Collei said, cutting a slice for Tighnari.

They all sat down at the table and enjoyed the cake, which was delicious. Cyno then gave Tighnari his gifts: a book about the history of Sumeru, a pendant with the symbol of Dendro, and a painting of them together in their graduation robes.

"These are wonderful gifts, Cyno. Thank you so much," Tighnari said, admiring them.

"You're welcome," Cyno said. "I hope you like them."

"I love them," Tighnari said.

Naga and Fiona also gave Tighnari their gifts: a football jersey with the name Pelé on it, and a book about Pelé's life and achievements.

"These are gifts from our world," Naga explained. "Pelé was one of the greatest football players of all time. He was from Brazil, a country in South America."

"He won three World Cups with Brazil and scored over 1,000 goals in his career," Fiona added. "He was an icon of the sport and a hero to many people."

"Wow, that's impressive," Tighnari said. "I've never heard of football before."

"It's a very popular sport in our world," Naga said. "It's played by two teams of 11 players each on a rectangular field with goals at each end. The objective is to score more goals than the other team by kicking the ball into the net."

"That sounds fun," Tighnari said.

"It is," Fiona said. "Maybe we can bring some of the our colleagues at BBC Sport to show you how to play sometime."

"I'd like that," Tighnari said.

They continued to chat and laugh, exchanging stories and jokes. Tighnari learned a lot about Earth and its people, and Naga and Fiona learned a lot about Teyvat and its wonders. They found that they had a lot in common, despite their different backgrounds and worlds.

They were having a great time, until they heard a breaking news report on the radio and on the TV; BBC News at 10 PM, in that night Sophie Raworth presents.

"We interrupt this program to bring you some sad news," the announcer said. "We have just received confirmation that Pelé, the Brazilian soccer legend who won three World Cups and became the sport's first global icon, has died at the age of 82."

There was a moment of silence, as everyone was shocked by the news.

"Oh no," Naga said, covering her mouth.

"That's terrible," Fiona said, shaking her head.

"I'm so sorry," Cyno said, looking at them.

"Who was he?" Tighnari asked, feeling confused.

"He was the man who gave us these gifts," Naga said, pointing at the jersey and the book.

"He was the man who changed everything," Fiona said, holding back tears.

"And He was the man who made us love football," they both said in unison.

They explained to Tighnari who Pelé was and what he meant to them and millions of others. They told him how he had inspired generations of players and fans with his skill, charisma, and joy. They told him how he had transcended the sport and become a symbol of hope, peace, and unity. They told him how he had touched their lives and hearts.

Tighnari listened with interest and empathy. He felt sorry for their loss and grateful for their gifts. He realized that Pelé was not just a football player, but a legend. He realized that he had received something very special from Naga and Fiona: a piece of their world and their passion.

He hugged them and thanked them for sharing their stories with him. He told them that he would cherish their gifts and remember Pelé. He told them that he would like to learn more about football and their world. He told them that he was happy to have met them and become their friend.

They hugged him back and thanked him for his kindness. They told him that they would love to teach him more about football and their world. They told him that they were happy to have met him and become his friend too.

They smiled at each other, feeling a bond of friendship that transcended time and space. They decided to continue the party, in honor of Pelé and his legacy. They decided to celebrate life, love, and football.
