The Serene Celebration

In the heart of Liyue, where the lanterns' glow softly illuminated the cobblestone paths, Baizhu, the esteemed owner of Bubu Pharmacy, was preparing for a serene birthday celebration. It was a day marked not by grandeur but by the warmth of close companionship.

Qiqi, with her innocent charm, had spent the morning picking the freshest silk flowers, her little hands careful not to bruise the delicate petals. She was determined to gift Baizhu a bouquet that mirrored the tranquility he brought to her life.

As the evening settled in, the small group gathered in the courtyard of the pharmacy. The air was filled with the subtle scent of incense and the quiet chatter of friends. Baizhu, ever the healer, had insisted on a modest gathering, valuing presence over presents.

Frankie McCamley, the BBC Presenter, a friend from afar, shared tales of distant lands and the bustling life of a presenter, bringing laughter and a touch of the outside world to the intimate assembly.

Together, they dined on a spread of Liyue's finest delicacies, each dish a testament to the region's rich culinary heritage. Baizhu, with a rare smile gracing his features, felt a sense of contentment. Here, surrounded by friends and the familiar backdrop of his beloved city, he found joy.

As the night drew to a close, Baizhu reflected on the year past and the one to come. With Qiqi by his side and friends like Frankie to share in life's simple moments, he knew that no matter what challenges he faced whether as the owner of Bubu Pharmacy, or as the head of the First Aid team of the BBC, he would never walk alone.

(Sophie's Note: FYI, As Baizhu is the head of the BBC's First aid team, Qiqi, Barbara, Kuki Shinobu and Yaoyao are currently the main members of the team.)

The celebration was a quiet affair, but for Baizhu, it was perfect—just friends, nothing more, and yet, it was everything.

As the moon climbed higher, casting a silver sheen over Liyue, Frankie excused herself for a moment, only to return with a mysterious, elegantly wrapped box. The curiosity in Baizhu's eyes was evident, a rare departure from his usual composed demeanor.

"Baizhu, your dedication to healing and caring for others is a gift to us all," Frankie began, her voice warm with admiration. "We wanted to give you something that not only celebrates your birthday but also honors the healer in you."

With gentle hands, Baizhu unwrapped the gift to reveal an exquisite jade statue of a thousand-petaled lotus, a symbol of purity and enlightenment in Liyue's culture. But this was no ordinary statue; within its core, it held a reservoir of soothing herbal essence, a blend crafted by Qiqi and Frankie with the utmost care.

"This lotus is a diffuser of sorts," Qiqi chimed in, her voice soft yet clear. "The essence within is a special concoction that promotes relaxation and clarity of mind—qualities that a great healer like you embodies."

Baizhu was taken aback, his heart touched by the thoughtfulness of the gift. It was more than just a token; it was a reflection of his life's work and the impact he had on those around him.

As the essence began to permeate the air, a sense of peace settled over the gathering. Baizhu closed his eyes, taking in the gentle fragrance, and for a moment, all the weight of his responsibilities seemed to lift away.

The surprise gift was a testament to the bonds forged in the heart of Liyue, a reminder that even a healer needs healing sometimes. And as Baizhu looked around at his friends, he knew that this birthday would be etched in his memory forever, a serene celebration of life and friendship.
