The Commander's Day of Delight

The sun was high over the island of Inazuma, casting a warm glow on the Shogunate's domain. It is Saturday, the 18th of May, a day of celebration for Gorou, the great general of the Watatsumi Army. This year, his comrades had planned something special, a surprise that would bring a smile to the usually stoic commander.

Arataki Itto, the boisterous leader of the Arataki Gang, had teamed up with BBC Presenter Jane Hill to throw Gorou an unforgettable birthday bash. The venue was a secluded beach, where the waves whispered tales of ancient battles and victories.

As Gorou arrived, he was greeted by the sight of Itto and Jane setting up a feast fit for a general. "Happy birthday, Gorou!" they exclaimed in unison, their voices carrying over the sea breeze.

Gorou chuckled, his tail wagging with unhidden joy. "You two are full of surprises. What brings you here, Jane?" he asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Jane smiled, her experience as a presenter shining through. "I've heard so much about the bravery of the Watatsumi Army, and I couldn't miss the chance to celebrate its leader's birthday. Plus, Itto promised me an interview about your legendary tactics!"

Itto laughed heartily, slapping Gorou on the back. "That's right! We're going to share your glory with the world. But first, let's eat and enjoy the day!"

The trio sat down, indulging in a spread of Inazuman delicacies and sharing stories. Jane was fascinated by Gorou's insights on leadership and camaraderie, while Itto boasted of his own, often exaggerated, exploits.

As the afternoon turned to evening, Jane presented Gorou with a special gift-a handcrafted compass. "For a leader who guides his troops with unwavering resolve," she said, handing it to him.

Gorou accepted the compass, his heart full of gratitude. "Thank you, both of you. This day has been a true delight," he replied, his voice tinged with emotion.

The party continued under the stars, the laughter and conversation of friends old and new blending with the symphony of the ocean. And as the moon rose, Gorou knew that this birthday, surrounded by the warmth of friendship and the serenity of Inazuma, would be one he'd treasure forever.
