*one month later*

"SUNNY! SUNNY! SUNNY" Charlie screams into his phone

"WHAT" I scream back because it's 7am and I'm not in the mood

"IM 5 MINUTES AWAY" he yells

"Okay stop yelling, I can't understand, what?" I say

"I'm five minutes away!" He says

"Yes! Didn't you say you had someone coming with you?" I say

"Yeah remember? We were doing a meet up thingy where you bring one friend and I bring one friend" he says

"Ohh yeah" I say

*5 minutes later*

"Meet in Chill 3" I tell Charlie

"Where the fuck is that" he asks

"It's near the middle of the hall on floor 3, you can't miss it" I say and hang up

I'm sitting next to Collins on the couch in Chill 3

"I'm so nervous" I say bouncing my leg

"You've been friends since freshman year, you'll be fine" he says patting me on the head

I look at him and look deep in his eyes, they're so pretty, they're green, I love green eyes

"Are you sure" I say switching my eyes over to his lips

"Yes I'm sure" he says looks at me with his emerald eyes straight into my ocean eyes and I smile

I look away and play on my phone while we wait for Charlie and his friend Jade

Charlie walks in and I hop up and hug him

"Hi sunny!" He says

"Hi chars!" I say

"Hey wait, 2 quick questions, why do you call her sunny and can I call her sunny?" Collins gets up and asks

"You can call her sunny all you want I dont care, unless she doesn't want you to, then dont, but I call her sunny because her first name starts with the letter S, middle name starts with the letter U, and last name starts with the letter N, and you can't just call someone Sun, so I call her sunny" Charlie explains

"Ah, okay" Collins said

*ding*

Both mine and Collins phone go off

I tell Charlie and Jade that we have to go and we go down to the field

He was exactly right, someone had poured sunflower seeds all over the field

We spend 3 hours picking those up but finally we were able to start our warmup

Ruby comes up to during warmup and asks me a question

"Hey, are you dating Collins? I'm his brothers girlfriend and I just want to know" she asks

"Nope, just great friends" I say thinking about how dating him would be

"Ah, alright, that's for clarifying, his brothers are probably going to tease him about him being with you so just don't mind it" she says

"Mk, I won't mind it, thanks for telling me" I say

We do the warmup and finally the coaches say it's time to start

Since it a scrimmage, we do things differently, before we start the game, we must go over and high five the other team and say good luck

We say good luck and I wait to step into the box to bat while my walk up song plays

The song ends and I step into the box

Since it's a scrimmage, we stay in the box till you hit it or swing 3 times, no walks, but you can get hit by pitch which isn't fun

I watch 2 bad pitches go by before a good one finally comes

I had gotten the sign to bunt so I bunt it and take off the first

"SAFE!" The makeshift umpire yells

I look over at my coach and he gives the sign that June is going to fake bunt and I will steal

Levi pitches it and June fake bunts

I take off to second and slide

I hit the bag but I feel a sharp pain in my ankle

"FUCK" I yell as I grip my ankle

Daniel the second basemen asks me why I yelled fuck if I was safe

I cant respond, I just can't

People realize that I'm hurt and take a knee

Since Collins is shortstop, and usually shortstop covers the bag on the steal, he's right there as I'm crying, I don't want to be crying but I can't stop
