I grab Sloanes hand and I run

We run and run until we get into our dorm

"The door won't lock! The door won't lock!" I say, messing with the lock

I hear footstep, they are fast

I go over and grab Sloane off the ground and we hide in the closet

*CRASH*

Our door is off the hinges.

Sloane is silently crying into my shoulder

"I know your in here Collins, come out, don't be a pussy, and same with you Sloane" he says

He's rummaging through our entire dorm doing something

He goes into the closet and moves the clothes that are blocking us out of the way

"Well well well.. what do we have here" Charlie says

"Charlie.. leave.. us alone" I say

He pulls his gun up and points it at me

I shift around to make sure my entire body is blocking Sloane

"DROP THE GUN" officers yell out

He loads the gun

"DROP IT" more officers yell

I hear the click

I close my eyes and put my hands in the right position to guard Sloane

*BANG, THUD*

I scream out in pain because my arm is bleeding out, it didn't get hit directly but it tore off a clump of skin

"Sloane.. are you okay" I ask while putting my hand on my bleeding arm

My eyes are still squeezed shut

"I'm okay.. are you..?" She says

"It just tore my skin, I'm fine" I say

I open my eyes and Jayson is on top of Charlie

Jayson has Charlie's gun and he's putting handcuffs on Charlie

Another officer comes over and grabs my hand and tells me to come with him

I grab Sloanes hand from behind me and we walk

We walk though the halls and we make it too an empty place

"What happened?" He asks

I explain and he's bandaging my arm while I explain

Sloane can't explain because she's crying into my shirt

"Yeah he's going away for a long time" the officer says and finishes up the bandage

The rest of the officers walk by and Charlie is trying to fight out of the handcuffs but he can't

Jayson walks into the room and walks over to us

"Hey CG, you feeling okay?" He asks

"Better" I say

"You did an excellent job protecting Sloane, good job" he says

"Thank you, it was my first instinct, protect anyone else, my mom won't ever let me forget that" I say

"Your mom is a good lady, hey, are either of you hungry?" He says

Sloane mumbles out that she's hungry and Jayson pulls out a cheese stick and hands it to her, he then says that if she's still hungry we can stop by a fast food place
