"Collins.. what was that? I'm scared" she says
"I don't know.." I say getting up
I look out the window and I watch as someone runs past and then they scream
Another person runs by, it's Charlie, he's holding something
"Unless we get a text, we're not opening that door, I'm not trying to scare you, just trust me Sloane" I say
I can tell she's about to cry but I can't help her
I'm going around, shutting off the lights, closing the blinds and shutting the curtains, I double lock the door and clean up our space a little
Sloane ducks behind her bed and we wait
*THUMP THUMP THUMP*
Someone is knocking on the door
"Do not answer that..." I whisper to Sloane
She nods and hides behind me
*THUMP THUMP THUMP*
This dude needs to leave
Both of our phones are on silent but I feel mine vibrate
I open it up and it's a text from Jayden

I can see someone knocking

No. Charlie was just
chasing someone and he
probably is going to kill
me or Sloane if we answer

Got it, I'm going to
make my dorm like

My phone vibrates again even though I just shut it off
I open it and it's from Jayson

Sloane read the text and buried her head into my shoulder
We sit there for around 10 minutes before Jayson tells me that it's okay
I text him back wondering how Charlie got out and he says he doesn't know
Sloane hides behind me as I slowly unlock the door
I open the door and a police officer immediately yells
"GET DOWN"
I drop without thinking and I scoot back into the room
I shut the door and lock it back and me and Sloane crawl back over to the behind her bed
Jayden texts me and tells me and Sloane to come out of our rooms, it was just that dude first instinct
We get up and open the door and walk out
Jayson find us and walks with us
We hear a bunch of yelling and Jayson slowly draws his gun and starts walking backwards
Sloane gets behind me and I get behind Jayson
"I won't let them touch you" Jayson says
We hear more and more yelling and then we hear the metal exit stairs
*BANG BANG BANG*
