Dally's POV:
I emediatly went downstairs and found buck sitting in a chair at the bar reading today's news. "Buck, I need to borrow your car. I might only be Abel to bring it back in two or three days." I basically shouted at him. "Dal, man, what's got you so riled up?" He said and chuckled a little bit while tossing me the keys to his t bird. "I'm going to find my sister, man." I said while running out of the bar as I heard him shout "the fuck man?!" I just kept running. My plan was to go to the curtis house where I was guessing that everyone would be, tell them where I was going. I got in the car and emediatly started driving twenty miles per hour over the speed limit. Pretty soon, I got to the front gate and stormed in. "Hey, Dal." I heard johnny say from the couch where he was sitting near Pony. I looked around, and sure enough, the whole gang was there. "Guys, I gotta go, and you will probably only see me in two or three days again." I said quickly, wanting to leave as soon as possible. "Dal, is the fuzz after you again?" Pony asked, looking a bit concerned. "No, I'm going to find my sister." I said and ran back to the car. It was only when I sat down that I remembered that only johnny knew about Scarlet. Just then, I saw johnny and Pony running out of the house and getting in. "The fuck dal?!" Pony shouted from the backseat. "Johnny, tell him. Ans Pony, did darry let you come?" I asked. I heard a mumbled yes from Pony and johnny explaining to him about Scarlet. "So wait, let me get this straight. Dally has a sister named Scarlet Jay Winston who lives in New York, and we are going to find her?!" Pony asked, kinda shocked. "Yes." I answered, simply looking forward to the road that I remembered driving on four years ago. I still knew the exact way, and I knew where she would be. After countless hours, it already started getting dark, and I could tell that Pony and johnny were watching the sunset, I stopped and parked in an almost empty lot so that we could keep on driving tomorrow.
Scarlet POV:
We were all at Ruby's house. "OK, I'm going home. Is anyone coming?" There was a chorus of mumbled 'yes, or 'mhm', and since it was already getting dark and I wasn't exactly the toughest of us, Ruby let me stay the night. We decided that tomorrow we would go meet in the little alley and then I would go back to the girls home. After everyone left and it was just Ruby and me that she had finally broken the silence. "Scarlet, I know that you are scared of that, Ms. Lenora. But you can't let her hit you so much you've got bruises everywhere." Then she asked me to show her my hands, and I pulled up my sleeves but only showed her the top of my arm because I cut myself on the other side, and I didn't want any of the girls to know. Surprisingly, she didn't ask to see the other side, so I was relieved. Later, we went to her room and went to sleep.
