Scarlets POV:
The next day was spent at the DX, after, of course, I went over to my place, and got dressed. I had a long black sleeves t shirt on with dark blue jeans. I put my hair in a half ponytail. It turned out that the winter break had just started in Ponyboy's school, so we had a month until Pony and Johnny would go back to school. When we got to the DX, I emediatly went in, since I was freezing.
Ponyboy's POV:
I wanted to offer Scarlet, my jacket, since I could tell that she was frozen. When we got there, she ran in, and now I really felt bad for a bit giving it to her. I need to seriously man up.
Sodapops POV:
Johnny, Pony, and Scarlet came to spend the day here. When I saw Scarlet, she looked like she was freezing. I gave her one of my co-workers' jackets. She was a girl, so it was a pink college jacket. It suited Scarlet really well. Later, when the girl, whose jacket I gave to Scarlet, came by to pick up her keys, she told Scarlet that she could keep it.
*Skip to a few hours later.*
Johnny's POV:
We were about to leave the DX since Sodapop and Steve's shifts were ending when Curly shepard walked in.
He didn't see us yet, but he saw Scarlet ,so he walked straight up to her. Oh boy.
Scarlets POV:
I was reading a book, and it was the book that dally gave me. Then, all of a sudden, I felt two big cold hands, go on my shoulders, and my heart sank.
Without turning around, I said, somewhat above a whisper, "Who are you. Please go away. " Then I heard a lie male voice whisper in my ear. "No need to worry, babe." Then I heard Steve's voice. "Get off of her curly, if dal finds out, he's gonna kill you." Then I got pulled away and felt two warm arms, being wrapped around me, and I cried out of shock of what just happened. I cried into the sweet Johnny cades shoulder.
