August Thompson and Isaac Garcia were not going to last!

Once it was confirmed to those who kept a close eyes on them that they were officially together, everyone established that they were simply not going to make it past two weeks.

Why?

Because people like them aren't capable of actually maintaining a relationship, another way of saying that they don't inherit the ability to actually care for someone enough to stay loyal.

There was August, who was a typical mean girl that can't form a genuine connection to save her life as she will probably end up like her mom. And Isaac, the boy who went from girl to girl as he only proved that he was going to be an exact copy of Cole.

It was all of the reasons why they shouldn't be together despite how much they compliment each other.

And they might've been cute in every way possible but still, two weeks max.

However what everyone didn't know was that they weren't together because they were incredibly infatuated with each other ( that's what they claimed amongst themselves at least ), they were dating because it made people mad.

And it worked alright.

Everyone was convinced that their relationship was real except for well, Isaac himself.

"Can you at least try to act like you like me?" He whispered at her side. "You giving me dirty looks all this morning is making me think we're gonna break up by 6th period."

August was gazing at herself in her mirror that was attached to her locker, fixing the few strands of hair the stuck out amongst her curls that she spent an hour on while she only applied a thin layer of lip gloss that satisfied her enough, simply ignoring his stare on her. "Rumor has it that your apology to Jackie this morning wasn't really sincere." She noted before shutting her storage area for her books, finally turning to him with a furrow in her eyebrows. "Are those rumors true?"

"Well-"

"Isaac. You said you were going to genuinely apologize!" August exclaimed.
