There were no flowers.
A wedding needed flowers.
One can only imagine the stress that the planners would feel when there were no flowers for a wedding that needed flower.
"Are they answering?" August asked impatiently as she sat down on the wooden seat attached to the table, her was knee bouncing up and down in an uneasy manner while she watched Jackie pace quickly in front of her, phone glued to her ear.
"If they answered I would've said something by now." Jackie exclaimed as she remained in her back and fourth trance.
With her words, August sunk back from where she sat, a little sour expression painting her face when she leaned back into Isaac who was also seated, just not beside her and instead on the table just above her. "You're mean when you're stressed." August acknowledged, fidgeting with the necklace that was no longer hidden in her pockets. Isaac smiled when he noticed.
"You're mean all the time." Lee said from beside her.
Despite the amount of room he had, Lee still squished her to the point where she had no room between them, but it was only because he wanted her to be closer to his brother, she didn't know that though, she just thought he was annoying.
"You know, I feel like you're still upset about earlier." August said with a knowing smirk, "Are you?"
The frosting bag was emptied out on both Isaac and Lee, more particularly on their hairs that they just finished doing.
"Earlier? Why would we be mad about earlier?" Isaac spoke up sarcastically, causing August to lean her head back against him so she could look up and clearly view his face. "It's not like it took us forever to make sure all that sugar got out of our hair or anything."
"Right." She smiled, "Almost forgot about that."
Today was the best weather out of any other day yet. It was hot, but not too hot to the point where anyone might get a serious heatstroke.
Not only that, but the sun was angled perfectly at this given moment seeing as it was shining deliberately on August's face, one that exemplified every one of her admirable features for Isaac to see. With her head still leaned up against his leg, he was able to rediscover everything he always gravely found bewitching about her when he looked down. Even with the squint of her eyes while she awaited for what he would say, he still found every bit of winsome colors stirring amongst it when her brown hue would be accompanied with the bright beams.
