Victoria's POVL

It was already morning, and the sun was shining right on my face. Ugh, I wanted to sleep more, but I couldn't. Today was an important day, the start of everything.

I mustered the energy to get out of bed and headed straight to Vin's room. As I opened the door, there he was, sleeping peacefully throughout the entire night. I couldn't help but whine and beg him to wake up.

"Vin... Vincenzo... it's already 8 in the morning, come on... Vinnn," I pleaded. He slowly opened his eyes and mumbled, "Hmmm... I'm up." I couldn't help but smile at his response.

"Rise and shine," I said in English. He chuckled and teased me, saying, "You still say this?" as he got out of bed. "Yep," I replied, slipping out of his room and making my way to the bathroom to freshen up.

After about 30 minutes of getting ready, we both wore our outfits for the day...

Now, in front of Babel, I asked Vin, "Should we say we're siblings or...?" He casually replied, "If they ask you, then no worries. But if they don't, then that's even better."

As we said our goodbyes, I waved to Vin. He smiled and drove off.

As I entered, I noticed that many people's eyes were on me. I shrugged and took a step forward.

....

"Victoria Cassa... no?" I nodded and replied in a formal way, "Yes, sir."

The worker read my information papers, stating, "26 years old, a famous female lawyer in London, Italian and Korean, never lost a case in court, involved in numerous charities and associations."

He looked at me in awe and asked, "Omg, you're talented at a very high level in life. Why did you come here to Babel?" I chuckled and responded smoothly, "Well, my first reason is that I want to live here in Seoul. And my second reason is that it's been my dream to work here if I ever got the chance to live here because Babel is a very high and famous company, and I'd like to share my ideas here as well."

I think I gained his trust because he looked stunned. He quickly said, "Please wait for a second. I'll call the chairman because you can't just be a normal worker here."

"Thank you, that's an honor," I bowed as he quickly bowed back and left the office.

After he left, I exhaled a long breath and started tracing my finger on the desk. "Ew, they need to clean this place," I said in a tone full of disgust.

The door of the office opened, and I quickly regained my posture.

"Please follow me, the chairman wants to talk to you," the worker said, leading the way.

After a short walk and an elevator ride, we arrived at the chairman's office.

The worker knocked on the door and opened it for me. I thanked him as he smiled in return.

"Sir, this is Victoria Cassano, the person I mentioned earlier-" the worker began, but the chairman interrupted. "I understand. You can go now," he said, and the worker quickly bowed and exited the room.

How rude-

As I turned around, my eyes locked onto a hulking figure, slowly getting up from his chair. With a welcoming gesture, he motioned for me to take a seat in front of him.

"Please take a seat" he gently said.

He's handsome-

I quickly bowed and took my seat as he settled into his own. "My worker briefed me about you, but could you please hand me the papers?" he requested. I followed his instructions and handed over the documents.

After a brief perusal, he returned them and said, "You're in. However, everything that happens within our company must remain confidential." I nodded, knowing why.

"Furthermore, as one of the heads of our legal team, you need to be meticulous in your work," he concluded. I nodded again, expressing my agreement. "Thank you, sir" I replied, giving a small bow to show my gratitude.

"When can I start with my job?" I asked eagerly. "You can start from today, Mrs. Vi-vi-" he struggled to remember my name.

"It's Victoria, sir," I politely interjected. "Y-yeah, Mrs. Victoria," he responded, clearly embarrassed.

He cleared his throat and made a call, saying, "Let me call my worker to lead you to your office."

"Thank you," I said, hiding my smirk. After he finished his call, there was an awkward silence.

"What can I call you, sir?" I asked curiously. "You can call me Mr. Han seo, my real name is Jang Han-seo," he replied gently.

"Okay, Mr. Han seo," I said, just as the office door opened, revealing the worker.

Mr. Han seo gestured for me to leave and follow his worker. I bowed, thanking him, leaving the 'chairman' sit on his chair.

I couldn't help but laugh at myself for making that lame joke.

Vincenzo's POV

I made Mr. Hong Yun Chan accept me being part of the Geumga Plaza.

While I was making my way outside the building, the girl I saved earlier, who happens to be Mr. Hong Yun Chan's daughter, came running up to me. She called out, "Sir!" and I turned around, giving her a look of confusion.

"What a surprise. You even called the reporters." She started. I gave her an annoyed look.

"However, there's something I just can't wrap my head out around" she said as I tried to resume my walk.

"Why would you get worked up over this even more so than your client" she asked smirking.

"The building was sold at a high price so you'll be getting a hufty sum" with that we were both walking in a fast pace.

"Putting aside the money, wouldn't this upset anyone" I asked. "Not at all. lawyers don't usually involve themselves in matters like these. European lawyers are quite strict about these things." She said while moving her eyes to me.

"What are you trying to say?" I asked, and stopped in my tracks, making her stop as well.

"My experience tells me that there's more to this. A reason enough to make them out this way." She said, stepping one step forward.

"So, what could that be?" I asked smirking while getting closer to her.

She moved closer which made me impressed at her confidence.

"Beats me. But it must be something that's more valuable than the building." She said running away.

But she stopped in her tracks and walked in the opposite direction.

I was shocked, kinda.

After a few seconds, I made my way to do some work..
